I appreciate your post, greg aguilar!

I understand that you have a question about the flow meter on your Frigidaire washer. Typically, a flow meter monitors the amount of water being released into the washer. I hope this information has been helpful to some degree. -Matt

I have a Frigidaire front load washer model number Ftf2140es0 it will not fill with water. You can hear it click like its trying to fill but there's no water coming in

Here is checklist.
Start with the faucet that supplies the water to the machine.
It is flowing freely?
You will need to detach the washer hose to check that (and put a garden hose to the outside).
If the water is flowing freely from the faucet, then detach the hose to the washer and carefully inspect the filter screen inside the coupling on the back of the washer. The tiny (about 1/2 inch diameter) screen may be plugged up.
If the faucet, hose, and filter screen are good, the water flow solenoid could be defective.
That is the plastic piece where the 2 hoses attach from the outside. It has a wire connector as well.
God bless your efforts.

Code 62 on frigidaire front loader washer

Disconnect the plug from the drive motor and measure the resistance of pins 4 and 5 in the motor. If reading is between 105 and 130 ohms, replace the Speed Control Board. If the meter reads outside 105 and 130 ohms, replace the motor.

Keep getting fh code, replaced pressure switch, replaced flowmeter, noticed that the hot water would not shut off, even put on cold water only and hot water would still run. Machine is constantly sending...

the code means water inlet problem
Have the water flow meter checked or replaced. If the internal wheel sticks inside the meter, the CCU will think no water is entering the washer and give you this error code.
Do you notice an above normal amount of water in the washer when you notice the error code? This is a good indication the flow meter is faulty. You can obtain the part from Sears and install it yourself. Very easy fix.
The flow meter has a reed switch on the side of it.
Sometimes this switch fails and doesn't respond to the magnetic wheel inside the flow switch. It is suppose to provide a pulse action as the wheel turns. The CCU interprets these pulses to determine flow rate. Just because the wheel inside the meter turns, does not necessarily mean the reed switch is functioning. Exactly when do you see the hf error. At the exact moment you see the error is the washer's water level higher than normal?

A GOOD TIP IS: blow air back into drum and into the pressure switch. It will usually work after that!

What does it mean when the washing machine stops and blinks the letters fh?

The fault code "FH" means basicly a water inlet flow problem. Make sure you check that you have enough pressure and the machine is filling to the correct level

Leak. My wife noticed water leaking out bottom of washer

Try cleaning the drain plug. I did this in about 5 minutes and was amazed at how much debris was clogging up the drain. Mine was accessible by removing two screws at the bottom of washer and removing panel. Drain plug was right there and easy to unscrew. Be sure to have a cookie sheet or other pan to catch the water that will flow out. Once that drain is clear, thumping should stop because water can flow down the drain easily.

Duet washer

F-20 stands for the error no water coming in. but there is actual water coming in. so the problem is the flow meter.

it is not detecting that there is water flowing unto it. if the unit is new and still under warranty, they would replace it. if not, then check the alignment of the unit. if it is tilted or change it's orientation with the horizontal, the flow meter would sometimes stuck and would not send the correct signal to the controller.

tnx 4 using fixya,

ckd to be sure all screens in both ends of fill hose and inlet valve are clean if you have good water flow into washer suspect flow meter bad ..remove the three screws along back edge of top slide top back and off on left side there is a small round device with hoses into and out of it and 2 wires attached ..this a flow meter and detect water flow into washer ..small switch in unit has been known to cause issue..try tapping flow meter with screwdriver handle if corrects problem meter problem verified.. if not may still be bad and just can't budge switch with tap
