Generic problem for all Motherboards

Computer cut -off went running

I start the computer, hear one beep (which is good), then runs for about 30 seconds and shut-down. Retarted the computer around 10 times or more still does the same thing, over, and over, and over again....

I check the nvidia video card on another computer (ok), hard drive (ok), sound card(ok).

Could it be the power supply, or the CPU, or the motherboard?
Could anyone help me, going on 3 days, and I can't figure out!!!!

Yes. By the way the motherboard is a MS-7058 using Pentium 4 800MHz processor, WD 250 GB, 1GB DDR1.

there is a jumper near the board cmos battery try to clear cmos by changing the jumper to the other position for some seconds (while power is off) so smos is clear. start the pc hit delete to enter setup then load system defaults , exit saving changes.

Does it do this when just the hard drive is disconnected?

Based on what you've said, it sounds like a power supply problem. You can buy a power supply tester for $10 - $15 U.S. if you don't know someone who has one.
