You can't jumpstart a battery, but you can jumpstart the LP engine. If your battery is dead, you will need to jump the buffer until the battery is replaced; a auto battery charger or jump unit can do that. The battery looks like a 12 V 32 AmpHour. Check battery cables, make sure they are clean and tight on the terminals, may need new battery or charge old one 24 hours @ 2 amps.

Sounds like when the battery went dead, there was still a little power left in it, and when starting was attempted, it went completely dead. This causes the computer to automatically shut down to prevent damage to it. Starting it afterwards may require allowing it to run until it reaches operating temp (when temp gauge is in center), and then restarting one or two times. If this doesn't work, you will need a scan tool to reset pcm.

possable fuse as gone at the back of the radio nr to were the mains addapter is. or may need re programing

Make sure you hsve a fully cheged battery to hand. First, disconnect original battery for at leazt 30 mins. Then reconnect new battery. Having no battery connected for 30 mins is critical
