If the picture is OK, and only he audio is absent, the fault should be with its audio output circuit; or its speaker/s. Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. I bought my 46" samsung

The Capacitors on the Main Power PCB are failing which is why it's taking 3 attempts for them to charge before the TV will switch on.

These could be replaced for a few $ if you know someone with the technical ability and equipment.

Failing this it would require a new PCB at around $120 + fitting.

I have a mitsubishi model vs55601 when you turn power on the on little green comes on for about 1 sec then goes out i hear the ralay click sounds like can hear the hi voltage try to start then ...

This sounds like a bad capacitor in the power supply. This is a very common problem on rear projection and plasma TVs because they require a large amount of juice to start up from a powered off state. Replacing the power supply can be more than the cost of a new TV, but if you're handy with a soldering iron you can attempt to locate and replace the bad capacitors yourself.
Be sure to leave the TV unplugged for a few days before working on it to avoid electrical shock, and refer to your manual or any technical manuals you can find to locate the power supply on your particular set. (It's usually the brick with the plug coming out of it.) :)

My 46" SONY LED has no sound coming out now.

Hi this sounds very much like a dry or bad solder joint probably on the power supply PCB, if you have the necessary soldering skills and a magnifying glass you maybe able to fix this yourself.

The picture below shows an example of what a dry joint(s) looks like, if you are able to solder and understand the risks in taking apart your TV you could save yourself a good few bucks!

Always make sure the TV is unplugged and please be aware that voltages can still be stored even when the tv is turned off, if in any doubt or you are unsure about attempting a repair please consult a qualified TV technician.

Hope this helps

My tv keeps clicking on and off at startup. Sometimes taking 3-4 attempts to turn the screen on. Also, it will start without picture only sound

Your #1 suspect: LCD inverter, which supplies white light to the screen.

Your #2 suspect: the switched power supply, specifically 24VDC lead that supplies power
to the LCD inverter.

Either way, enjoy your 40-in set while it lasts, since its soon to be heading for a TV repair service.

I have a older sanyo ds19390 tv that is buzzing inside, not thru speakers please help

In older tvs the buzzing sound usualy comes from the HT lead plugged into the tube .open the back and switch the tv on (do not touch anyware near the set the HT lead carries avery high voltage even when the set is off)if u do see arching then u need to clean around the rubber of the ht lead )u can leave the set unplugged for a couple of days to allow the tube to discharge before attempting to clean around it.

All you can do at home is leaving the TV unplugged for one or two hours and see if this solve the problem.

If the unit has just been repaired, and it is faulty again, contact the service back and have the problem fixed.

Common faults on plasma TV can concert the PSU power supply board, the sustain boards, and other boards, wiring and connectors.
The testing and repair job must eb done by a technician.

No Picture, clicking noise in rear of set

This may be a power supply relay actuating, What I would suggest is taking this set to a TV repair shop since the attempt to try to repair this yourself may lead to further complications.

Tv is on stand by but won't 'fire up'

I don't know the age of your set but I've found some Panasonics with a loose connection on the heat sink (an aluminum plate standing vertically on the circuit board) of the regulator IC (chip). The IC gets its ground through the heatsink. If the ground is open the power supply puts out too much voltage and causes the set to go into shut down. I've found this problem several times.
