I am having a little trouble trying to figure out what you are asking here... other then you have had way too many problems with these units...
With what you have described, I would be installing surge protectors on the electrical panels running these units or on the breakers going to each unit....it seems as though you have some type of electrical issue...
Also check that they are grounded properly...and wired properly...with the correct gauge wire, especially between the outdoor and indoor units...

Tips for a great answer:
You may find that the outdoor temperature is not transmitted in very cold weather. Right now it is below freezing and my indoor unit is showing - - for outdoor temperature.

Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.
