Had a young girl fake a car problem and ask to use my home phone. She said her dad or whoever she called wouldn't pick up the phone, probably because the called ID showed a strange number. So, she asked if I had a cell phone. That's when I let her try that. I never left her alone in the kitchen, but she said she had to go back to her car and get something. I didn't notice, but she took my cell phone with her(stolen of course).
Call; Customer Care Center at 1-800-867-7183, and report it stolen.

I never did get a chance to speak with a rep., I just responded to the auto transmission for removing my account. The automation said it would be removed within 7-10 days. That's not very helpful either, for she gets to use it all the time.
So sorry that happened to you, and that you couldn't talk with anyone! Did you file a police report? And would you be able to describe her vehicle, or wasn't it close by?
Yes, I filed a report with a Sheriff deputy, who came to my house later in the day. He took my description of her and all the tactics she used. I guess I didn't get suspicious enough about her until after she'd lifted the cell phone. She had tears in her eyes, when she asked me for money. I, now, believe the couple of trips she took back to her car, were to consult with her accomplice. I never saw the car, because she didn't want me to be able to. She said it was a red Mitsubishi, but not close enough to view. She planned it that way, I believe. The deputy did tell me that there had been incidents like this around the area.
