Ok try this bit..... hope this helps........ EMPTYING THE CONDENSED WATER TANK
Before performing the operations described below, make sure that the power is off and the unit
is unplugged.
If the dryer is not installed to pump out the condensed water into a drain or sink, the condensation water
collects in the water container to the left of the control panel. You should empty the container every two to
three dryer loads, depending on the dampness of the clothes when they go into the dryer.
To empty the container, follow the steps below:
1. Slowly and carefully remove the tank (Fig. 3). Be careful not to tilt the unit
and let water spill out.
2. The outlet is on the rear right of the water tank. Empty the water into a sink
or drain. (Note: The condensed water is safe to use for watering plants.)
3. Replace the tank into the slot, making sure it is securely in place.
NOTE: If the water tank fills during a drying cycle, the machine will stop and
the Drain indicator light will flash. To resume the program, empty the
tank and press the drain button for about ten seconds to allow the drain pump to pump the water in
the sump area back into the water tank. When the Drain light stops flashing, reset the Program
knob to the desired setting to restart the dryer.
CLEANING THE CONTROL PANEL
Before performing the operations described below, make sure that the power is off and the unit
is unplugged.
To clean the control panel, use only a warm, damp cloth. To prevent spilling of liquid into the door lock
and electrical components, never spray water or cleaning solvents on the control panel.
Also, never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the outer surfaces because they will scratch the
finish and could remove the writing on the control panel. Some paper towels may also scratch the finish

SOURCE: Machine is set to drain out, Drain light stays on

This means that the washer part of the cycle is complete but there is still too much water in the unit. Check the hoses and see if the drain hose is plugged or sitting to high.Check the pump and filter to see if something is lodged in it.

Hi i have an electrolux ewf 1087 that wont start everytime i press start it goes straight to drain, like from 2 hrs, it will go down to drain for 2 seconds then down to 0, if you turn it off then on again...

Here are two reset procedures for the control panel that might get your machine working again:
  1. Unplug the machine for about 1 minute. Plug it back in and check the machine's operation. If this doesn't work, try the next reset procedure.
or
  1. Turn the dial to Off.
  2. Press and hold the start/pause button and the nearest option button. While holding them down, turn the dial one notch clockwise.
  3. The machine will beep or flash, when it does let go of the buttons.
  4. After you release the buttons, turn the dial slowly, stopping at each click until you get to "off".
  5. Now, turn the dial to any setting, then turn to off.
  6. Check the machine's operation.

Push start and machine wont fill and draining/unlocking light sarts blinking about 2 seconds later

My machine had the exactly same problem:
1. Push Start button to wash, but Draining/Unlocking light will flash right away. The drum started to run and stopped
2. No error code shown up
3. Run Quick test: no error code
4. Run Universal Test: error code F25 (later, found nothing wrong with the CCU)
What I did:
1. Clean the bump: found coins and strings.
2. Clean the drain pipe from the pump to tub: found more coins.
3. Clean chamber of pressure switch at the tub: found nothing.
4. Clean the gap between tub and drum: found a credit card!
After the cleanings, the Draining/Unlocking light would still come back and I almost gave up. Amazingly, I ignored it and a few minutes later.... the machine started to run as normal!
It seems that CCU needs sometime to reset itself after the failure.

Water wont drain out so the machine stops. The

Are you sure there is NO blockage (ie: food or other foreign object) at the bottom of the dishwasher? You may have to GENTLY pull the screw up & out and look for any debris. If so remove it and do a test run.

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Depress start button till start light goes out. Close door, drain pump should run for a while. Wait for end of program, rer-try a new program start. This process is re-setting memory. If this fails to sort problem then start checking components, ie: fill valve water on? heaters open circuit/down to earth, drain pump, is it emptying, wash pump.

Miele intake/drain flashes, no drain

this can happen after inactivity. the circulation pump seal sticks and wont turn . when the dishwasher starts to fill the circulation pump is pulsed on to see if the preasure switch switches over (to see if water is getting into the dishwasher) if the pump does not turn there is no preasure and the machine stops thinking no water has entered. turn pump by hand to cure.

Sounds like a pressure switch tube may be blocked or switch may be faulty. Is there a switch on your machine? If so try pulling the tube off at the bottom of the switch and blowing through it to clear the blockage. (If you take the top lid off you should see a diaphram operated switch with a small bore plastic tube going from it to the bottom of the machine)

Whirlpool 6th sense awm8163 programes never stops now cannot get it to work at all

The pump is at the lower left of the front of the machine covered by a white plate. Use a bowl to catch any remaining water when opening the screw thread inside and then clean and replace. If it is truely beyond repair then a new filter pump can be bought from ebay for £3 or thereabouts.

I have just drained mine manually in this way and am going to run it empty with soda crystals to glean a few more days use whilst the new pump arrives.

Good luck :)

Whirlpool front loader washing machine (AWO3361) WONT DRAIN

Remove drain hose from where it connects to the plumbing under the sink/tub. Inspect the spigot. If clogged, clean. If clean, then tilt machine back and remove drum to pump hose from pump. Check hose and also drain pump. Clear any obstructions.
