I appreciate your inquiry, Deo Huggins!
I understand that your icemaker is leaking water inside of your Electrolux refrigerator. It sounds like a possible crack within your water filter and that is causing water to build up into your icemaker or it could be an issue with your water valve. I would suggest removing your water filter ad making sure there is no visible damage to the outside of it. If you do not see any damage I would suggest having a professional technician come out and properly diagnosis your refrigerator. Best of luck! -Matt

SOURCE: whirlpool ice maker

this is a hard one to diag in person, let alone via email. you know your not getting water to the ice maker, problem is finding out why, ther is (or should be) a tech sheet behind the kickplate of this unit with a little trouble shooter and diag procedure for the ice maker. folded little blue/and or brown paper.
1. is the water line leading from the valve to the ice maker fill clogged/frozen??? pulll the machine out and youll see the line leadding to the top corner of freezer, disconnect that line and try to blow though to the insde of freezer, should blow withno resistance. if so your good if not youll need to thaw that line

2. is the red light blinking on the inside of door. its a sensor for the ice maker if its faulty you wont get ice either. With the flapper on rt wall of freezer depressed the light should remain on solid, if continues to blink a pattern, 1 and 1 quick blinks, 1 and them 2 quick blinks, youll need to replce the electronics

3. is the water valve itself just not sending water to the ice maker. its a dual vavle 1/2 does water and the other half feeds the ice maker . generallly youll hear the valve being energized, just no water coming through

4. ice maker itself can be damaged and not calling for water at all.a pretty common issue with these electonic control ice makers is the center gear actually over torques itself and winds up snapping itself(at least the tabs that hold ino place snap anyway). gaining acess to the face of the ice maker will tell this.
while looking at the exposed from\nt of ice maker you should see the center gear adn the 2 tabs holding the gear on as well. ther shoud be a SMALL but definite space betwwen the 2 tabs in middle of center gear, as if it were pressed on and the tabs spread back open to hold onto the gear. if 1 of the tabs is cracked or the gear isnot mounted correctly because of the tabs, you best bet is to replace the ice maker assy
GOOD LUCK

SOURCE: Viking freezer leaking

you have a clogged drain, it is either clogged with ice or some kind of debris, thaw the freezer out and push a length of weed trimmer line down the drain. The drain is accessible by removing the back wall of the inside of the freezer. If there is no clog then the drain may be freezing up, if that is the case, take a piece of 14 gauge romex wire and loop it several times around the heating element at the bottom of the evaporator and push a few inches of it into the drain, this will get hot and transfer heat when it goes into a defrost cycle which is where the water is coming from in the first place

Have replaced the 3part inlet water valve for our fridge freezer. Water is working fine, but still not making ice.

Check the ice bin level arm (also the ice maker on/off switch) is in the down position. It senses when the ice bin is full and turns off the ice maker until some ice in the bin gets used. It can also be lifted into the up position to turn the ice maker off.

French door / lower freezer. The icemaker makes ice fine until tray is about full and then slowly drips water until about 1/8 of ice is frozen together with a upside down brown ice cycle fused to them....

The most common reason for this is that the fill valve for the ice maker is sticking slightly.
The brown ice comes from the leaking water sitting there on either the kickout bar or the gears and you are getting some residual rust deposit.
You will need to take the fill valve apart and clean it or possible replace it, I also recommend installing a water filter for the ice maker if you don\'t have one or replace the old one.
Calcium deposits in water are real hard on these small valves.

Water dispensing into ice maker won't shut off

There should be a float or electronic water level sensor that will tell the water to shut off, if it has calcium from the water on it or the float is damaged it will keep sending water until manually shut off(pull the plug). I would look for a water level sensor of some sort and clean or replace it. If that doesn't work it could be a sticking water fill solonoid which you should then replace

My ice maker quit working when I replaced the water filter.

Your model Maytag comes with an electronic ice maker and if you just recently changed the water filter the water should be dispensed for 2 or 3 minutes or until any air that may be trapped in the lines is removed. If air is sill present in the filter the ice maker opens the water control valve for about 7.5 seconds. If air that is what the ice maker will get until the air is completely purged from the system. If you fill that you have past that point then pour tap water into the ice maker and let freeze. After the water freezes the ice maker should cycle and dump. If not the the ice maker core may need replaced. If yes it dumps then the air may not yet purged or the water control valve for the ice maker side may be defective. This is one of those wait and see repairs. I will send you a link to the copy of the service manual and page 71 begins addressing the ice maker. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Frigidaire water stopped working...ice maker.dispenser fine

You probably have an obstruction in filter compartment. you should remove filter and inspect o rings etc. or anything that could have clogged it up. The only other thing that could be the cause is a bad water valve. Side by sides have a double water valve. one for water ,one for ice maker. You can check this by having someone flip ice maker arm down so it calls for water and feel water valve as it runs and possibly hear it too. Hope this helps.

My barrel on my white mountian ice cream is leaking from the seams of the wood. it is only one year. its not allowing the brime to come from weep hole

The wood will shrink when it is dry. It will swell up and close the seams if kept wet. Place the barrel in a container and fill with water inside and out to get the seams to swell and close before you use the freezer to make ice cream.

Why would the water start coming out very slow?

If you are referring to water coming out the fountain it could be a leak in the system somewhere allowing air into the lines that run the water, if you are referring to water coming out of the ice maker itself you need a new ice maker the lining is bad
