Unless you think your piano was made between 1880-1885, I'm going to assume that this piano was made more recently. None of the pianos made by Geo. Steck begin with an "S". Here's what I found in the Pierce Piano Atlas. " In April of 1996 Kirk & Gary Burgett, owners of Music Systems Research, bought the assets of Mason & Hamlin and announced plans to continue production of some piano names.".
this would include the Geo. Steck. Is your piano made in the USA?
