Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
If you are not familiar with installing vehicle security systems I recommend you take it all to a local stereo/security shop for installation. There are no quick connects and a couple wires ran to the battery, these systems take up to four hours to install with the knowledge of the system and the car. Otherwise you can be left with an alarm and vehicle that both quit working. Most people looking for the wires and locations for this and other cars can visit www.bulldogsecuity.com for vehicle wire information. But please, verify wires with a multi-meter, the information isn't always 100%, or you'll find more than one green with a white stripe, etc.

Maybe this will help. ALL toyota's have a "child safety feature" on the door lock systm. You would never know it unless you lock the doors BEFORE you clse the driver door. At tht point, you woldn'y be able to unlock the doors using the factory wring as ther is ONE more wire hat needs to be pulsed upon unlock. Not to confuse you (I know, I already did). MAKE SURE that you close ALL the doors BEFORE you lock them and telkl me if it works then Than I can give you more support....cool?

SOURCE: keyless entry
trunk release wire goes to the trunk wire of the vehicle and the flash output goes to your parking lights. Now if the trunk release is a positive wire than you will have to put a relay in to make it positive and if your parking lights are negative than you will have to put a relay in to make it negative.

I'd say the easiest thing would be to stop being a lazy tw@ and get into the vehicle with a key as normal. Come on, lose some wait...
