Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I'm having a problem with my thermoheat propane heater 30,000-60,000 btu. It acts like it's stuck in low even with the knob turned all the way up. How can I fix this?

Sounds like thermo coupler. Check to see if it got bent or moved From flame . If not replace it.

I HAVE A THERMOHEAT CABINET PROPANE HEATER...... LATELY IT SMELLS....NOT OF PROPANE ..BUT LIKE A RICH BURN ..WHY?

If it hasn't been cleaned and serviced on a regular basis (at least annually), that more than likely the problem. The dust, lint and/or pet hair as infiltrated the heater and is clogging things up. Particularly, the burner. Thoroughly cleaning the heater inside and out will more than likely solve your odor issues. Also, check your propane tank to make sure it's not running low on gas. That can also cause the odor issue.

Hope this helps to solve your problem. Please let me know.
