You may have to "reset" it by removing both indoor and outdoor unit batteries, waiting briefly, then reinstalling batteries in the outdoor unit followed by the indoor unit. After awhile, the outdoor unit should begin sending information to the indoor unit.

Changed batteries and now cannot get an outdoor do I fix this?

  • Remove all batteries
  • Install batteries in outdoor unit
  • Make your way indoors at a leisurely pace. This allows the outdoor unit to initialize and begin sending data
  • Install batteries in indoor unit. You should see outdoor temperature displayed
In cold weather, the outdoor temperature display may disappear due to frozen batteries. At the moment my reading is - - because it is around 40 deg. F. However, in a day or two when the outdoor temperature reaches 50 deg., the outdoor temperature will be displayed again. All in all, rather whimsical.

Out do I get the outside temp back.

You have to remove all batteries, both outdoor and indoor. Install replacement batteries in the outdoor unit. Back indoors, install replacement batteries in the indoor unit and wait for temperature to be displayed. If nothing happens, the outdoor unit may have failed.

Does a particular part of the outdoor apparatus have to be in a particular position for outdoor temperature

Direct sun will heat the case the sensor is in adding to the reading. Just make a shade for the sun at all angles and it will be fine. Moving it to under the over hang of the roof will work too.

Fujitsu Outdoor Unit AOT90TP has error code E:OE = Outdoor High Pressure abnormal. Heating will not work, any ideas on what needs to be done to fix/what problem is?

Hi, and yes, when you have a high head pressure, either the outdoor fan is not running or the coil around the unit is very dirty and can not give off heat. To fix this if the fan motor is up and running like it should, shut off power to the outdoor unit. Take your water hose and start washing out the coil around the unit to remove all of the dirt. Be carful not to use to much pressure as you will flatten the aluminum fins on the unit. Turn the power back on and you should be back in service. Now if the motor is slow, dragging and not up to a good speed and moving a lot of air out of the top, then I would have the condenser fan motor replaced. Foe a tech to come out and change it, you are looking at around $150.00 dollars. I hope this has been of help to you.

Outdoor pool temperature

We usually heat ours to around 85?F. In fact, in the summer, we consider our pool cool if it stays below 90?F (where we live a 115?F is normal).

No Heat!

Sometimes too much dust around the heating elements can cause the heater to switch off to prevent a fire. Check for dust build up first. You can try using a can of compressed air that can be found at many electronic stores.
