Question about Washing Machines
Hover nextra hnf7148 ,water comes out of the back of the machine when loading with water, it comes from 3 small holes on the right hand side of the belt.i replaced the carbon brushes about a month ago ,I had the machine laying face down for a while. Just wondering if i may have messed up the alignment. ? Please help .
There is a big chance that you have messed up. As i know washing machines comes with 3-4 long bolts attached at back of machine. Which secures heavy inner parts during transportation. If you didn't attach those long bolts before laying your machine face down, inner pieces might be damaged.

Remove rear panel of washer.
Remove drive belt.
Unscrew the 2 bolts that hold motor to tub back.
Remove motor plug
Lever notor back with a screwdriver or similar, keeping a firm hold on motor.and remove motor
At the rear end of motor away from pulley you will see the brushes and the armature.
Remove brushes, and if there is less than 4 or 5mm of carbon left, then replace them.
Lightly clean the armature with emery cloth.
Refit in reverse order. Test.
Plz rate my solution.

The brushes are located inside the motor. Remove rear panel of washer, remove drive belt, from motor and drum, unplug the motor, undo screws that secure motor, and remove motor.
At the opposite end to the motor pulley, you will find the brushes located, undo 2 screws that secure the brushes, remove and replace brushes.
I would also check the pump filter, which should be located behind a removable panel at bottom of washer, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.
Please rate my fixya solution.

it has been a while since i worked on one of these, but I might be able to talk you through it, first make sure you have the correct bits to replace. i.e. the inside of the handle and the latch match the same that is on that you can see before you go any further.
using a torx size 15 I think remove the two screws on the door hindge, and then remove door by pushing up by a 1/4" then the hindge should pull away from the machine. using a torx size 10 then proceed to remove the four screws from the inside of the door frame, ease the door pannels appart and the glass bowl and lock should be exposed. there should be a further two screws holding the latch in place, just be careful when taken these out as they may be under load from a spring, note the positions of the latch and replace all back in reverse order.

Remove rear panel, remove top cover,.tilt washer forwards, get someone to hold it for you, and fit belt round motor pulley first, then start feeding it round drum pulley, easing drum round at same time, it will be tight, so watch you fingers,
