Question about Washing Machines
Could be one of two things.first try the penny trap at bottom front of machine.unscrew cover and check for captured debris such as a coin button etc .if this is clear the next possible reason is the water pump has failed or blockage in the drain pipe or even twist in pipe at the back of machine.

It is likely that the pump/filter has blocked thus preventing the water pumping out.
You would need to check and if so unblock it. The location of the pump/filter varies with the brand but sometimes it is behind a flap at the lower front of the machine whilst on others you have to get the back off to locate it.
