Sounds like a float bowl prob.... follow the gas hose from the tank to the carb.... little bowl on bottom will have 3 to 4 screws holding it on...remove carefully... the float on the inside will have a needle that plugs off the hole the gas comes through when the bowl is full then allows more gas in as it empties... yours probably has varnish( old gas) restricting the movement of that needle and not allowing gas in fast enough... clean it with emery cloth and the tube that the needle fits into with a small needle... if it is real bad soak it in straight gas line cleaner for the night... hope it helps

My kymco leaks gas from the overflow on the bottom of the carb constantly I have cleaned the carb many times and tried to adjust it at the needle valve but still leaks from the overflow

Hi Shannon:
- Needle valve has been compromised, possibly held open with grit.
Carefully dismantle and blow out all orifices with compressed air.
- Float level set too high. Review the way the float shutoff mechanism works. Make sure the float moves up and down easily and that it still floats as intended. Double check the lever that moves the needle valve. Make sure it is correctly connected to the needle.

Why does my rocker arms clack away after motor warm up on 85 1340.

you could have a worn camshaft or valve lifters or valve train components like rocker arms or you need to adjust the valves. too thin of oil viscosity or oil that is not changed for long times can do this as the oil thins out.

I own a 2004 TTR-225-S and when we try to start it will not get any gas to flow to the carburator

remove fuel line from petcock and see if fuel runs out, if not remove petcock from tank and clean filter screen, if it does come out, check for inline fuel filter change it, if it dont have one check fuel pump if it has one, or could be diaphrams in carb split and not building vaccuum to draw gas thru

1983 Ford F250 will start but won't idle without holding down gas

hi! there, its really help good of replacing old ones, perhaps the condition of current flow to ignite continously your combustion due insuffcient current supply from your ignition system could positively stop your engine,if you maintain this ignition system the engine won't stop such a case this type of model need mostly to be tune up some internal part on the head cylinder should take place of correctnes such as intake and exhaust valve, the rocker arm seat valve and spurk plug.if you done this your worry will be lessen.have a nice day.
