I NEED A PART. Where do I get this part?

Before trying anything I suggest, make sure your shredder isn't plugged in.
You will need to remove the adhesive from the rollers. You will need to use a glue solvent on the shredder rollers,something like Goo Be Gone. Personally, I still use Ronsonol Lighter Fluid In the image below I've outlined the supplies you'll need to, hopefully, clear your jam.



Without disassembling your shredder, the best way to clear your jam is to use Rosonol Lighter Fluid (3), tweezers (4), and dental picks (5).

1. Make sure you are working in a well ventilated area. Separate the shredder from its shredded paper collection tub.
2. Turn the shredder head upside down so that the paper output is facing up.
3. Pour Rosonol lighter fluid on both sides of the rollers near where they come together.
4. Use dental picks and tweezers to dislodge stuck paper pieces
5. Turn Shredder head over and repeat steps 3 and 4
6. Move power switch to the "Off" position
7. Plug power cable back in
8. Move power switch to "Rev" (reverse) position, if still stuck move power switch to the "Fwd" position, repeat twice
9. Repeat steps 1 - 8 until the rollers move freely

Once the rollers are moving smoothly you need to oil the rollers.

Brian, a lot of shredders have a microswitch in the bottom of the unit that has to be activated by a tab on the basket. One possibility is that the tab has broken off, which means that you would need a new basket, or there is a possibility that the shredder head is on the basket backwards and is not connecting with the tab. Hope this helps.

You need to check and make sure the gap between the 2 steel rollers is correct. Because it is not grabbing the paper you need to adjust the gap by opening it.

check the paper path you need to control the main drive mecanism, and all bushing roller : registration roller, pickup, fixing and exit: you can see exemple of the bushing to check:

you will need to take it aprt. over time paper dust gets in the gears, transmission and bushings. you will need to remove all the dust and inspect the drive gears. mosyt of these come apart buy taking it off the stand. flipping it over, messy. removeing the bottm bolts/screws. then maybe remove trans mission cover.

The transfer belt cleanning blade is under the transfer belt.Remove 2 screw and change it.The bias transfer roller is mounted in two bushings,remove the bushings and 2 springs.The fuser unit : upper fuser roller,lower fuser roller and the cleaning rollers.

My champion shredder had too many papers go thru because I didn't see the enclosure in one of the flyers. the shredder has now stopped. I have tried to pull the paper out but I reverse the wheel and now the paper is stuck behind the the wheel where I can reach. The motor is now ona humming sound. Are there screws on either end that I can remove the top? Please give advise n what to do. This is not and old shredder.
