Question about GE Dishwashers
Power supply checked and is o.k. No power to the dishwasher control panel.
Have you checked the power switch on the dishwasher?

Unfortunately, if you lost power as a result of a lightning storm or a power surge, there is a good chance that your dishwasher was exposed to a power surge that may have damaged the control circuitry. During these types of events, there is no way of knowing which device was affected unless there are visible signs of carbon or a burnt smell on the ircuit boards... so it will be a hit or miss proposition to repair it. You may have no choice other than to have an appliance person come in and diagnose the problem. Assuming they have a full complemnent of hardware with them, they might try swapping out individual piece parts until the right one is found... Good luck...

No recalls on any GE Profile model dishwashers. (there may have been service bulletins, but no recalls) Also, you missed the first two letters of the serial number.
You can go to this web site http://www.geappliances.com/products/recall/ to find info on any GE recall.

SOURCE: power not coming on
When a dishwasher appears to be dead, many times the door latch is to blame. On some models, that latch has a safety interlock switch directly controls the power, so that when the door is opened during a wash cycle, power is removed.
The problem is that the interlock switch can fail or get un-aligned, so the dishwasher does not get power.
Depending on your skill level, you can investigate the problem, using a phillips screw driver to open up the latch so you can see the interlock.

These control boards do not have fuses on them. I opened mine up when the front panel touch pad stopped working and the LED indicators were anemic. This is a sign of the ribbon cable connections have oxidized. The ribbon cable connects the touch pad to the control board.
Others have written up nice solutions on similar Maytag diswashers with the touch pad.
The previous expert shows that you can diagnose this by using a 10k resistor and connecting pin 6 and 10 on the ribbon cable connector and it will start the dishwasher (you have to trip the door handle and carefully do this with the power on). This proves that the control board is fine and ribbon cable connections are the problem. Don't forget to quickly trip the door latch once the dishwasher starts.
My solution was to purchase a contact cleaner called Deoxit. You can order from RadioShack.com or get at Frys. Spray Deoxit on both the ribbon cable end (removed) and into the connector on the control board. Deoxit removed the oxide on the connectors. The twin pack Deoxit spray comes with a solution that helps prevent corrosion. I am 1 day into the successful repair of this model Maytag dishwasher.
Previous people have suggested heat and steam get into the control board and oxidize this connector. I notice on the top right where the control board sits, there is a gap to allow steam to get into the door/control board area. I used bathroom caulk to seal both sides of the door to hopefully prevent further corrosion.
