Bajaj Pulsar Cranking Current

Hi, my question is non-motorcycle. I wish to run my 400 w fridge on my 2KW rooftop solar plant. I cant on account of the 9 amps or so of starting current required. I am thinking of switching the compressor wiring to a bajaj pulsar battery whenever it goes off, and switch back to the solar plant after 3-4 seconds delay, using relays and timers. Can some one tell me what is the kind of cranking current required to start the bike ? Thanks. Ganesh

Hello Ganesh,
Here is a link that might help you with your voltage query.

https://www.scribd.com/doc/.../Manual-de-Taller-Bajaj-Pulsar-220S

It is not a 180 but the voltage specs should be the same 12 - 13v at cranking I would estimate.
Hope that helps.

SOURCE: Bajaj Pulsar 150cc from Kick Start to Self Start

it would be impossible to fit the bike would have to be rewired the engine would have to be replaced it would be more than the bike is worth you would be better off selling the bike and buying a electric start model

SOURCE: i have a problem with my bajaj pulsar shock absorber, within three months it was found hard

i think it is shock absorber.after 15000 km it is recommended to change the oil of shocker.
1>you may topup your shocker oil then see if their is change or not.
if not
2>then your shocker must be tilted or damaged which can be repaired with a pressure machine or they must be changed....
