Where is the reset button for gas furnace serial # MGH9301-02963

Normally there are no reset buttons on most furnaces. There are two burner rollout switches, those are the only manual reset buttons on the furnace.

To reset your furnace, turn off the fuse or breaker to the furnace, wait a few minutes and the fualt will be restored. If the furnace tries to start 3 times and does the exact same thing, then you have problems

Peerless Boiler - Turned off boiler to replace Circulator for the hot water. Turned furnace back on. Did not ignite. Tried to hit the reset button for 30 seconds and nothing happened. Furnace will

Did you bleed the air out of the pump. The boiler has a flow switch that has to make before it will let the boiler lite. Make sure you have all of the air out of the system and are pumping or flowing water and not air...Also check to see if you didn't happen to of tripped the limit it has a manual reset. Red Button on the front of limit.

Furnace comes on and ignites but goes out when fan kicks on

there are a few things that can make a gas furnace short cycle when did this problem start and how old is the unit there are a couple of things to try it could be a bad rollout swith they look like little buttons just pull the 2 wires off and connect them to each other you can find them on both side of the burner box jump them out and try it again if this is the problem you can reconnect one at a time starting the furnace after each one to find the bad one then replace . try this first if nothing try jumping out the limit switch it will be in the middle of the furnace looks like a small board with 2 wires connected to it jump it out and start furnace to check.

Furnace pilot ***,furnace will not ignite, has

Look around the burners. Look for a little round cylinder with some wires attached and a small knob that you push in to reset. There will be more than 1 of these. You should also try to figure out why it is tripping.

Rudd furnace

You have a safety limit switch that is either bad or needs to be manually reset. Some have little buttons between the two wires going to the switch that you can push to reset. If not they are automatic switchs then one is bad. You have to do an ohms test to see if each switch is bad or good.

Problems with Furnace

On is just the blower fan nothing else, check to see if there is a reset button in the tstat or tripped over load inside the furnace, inside the furance is some safetys, you will see wires runing from each other and finaly to the gas valve, push each untill one of them clicks, then your furnace should start back working, but I would still have someone come out and check why it tripped, because as I said it is a safety, and when it tripps it is for a reason.
