Question about Kodak Office Equipment & Supplies

Hi, my dad's Kodak Brownie 8 A15 regular 8mm film projector has an issue with the knob. It will turn to the rewind position but not Project. Does it have to be pushed in ? I hate to force it.

Http://www.grantmillar.net/kodak-brownie8-manual-15-g-version1.pdf. Doesn't seem to need it. Check to make sure the knob hasn't turned ie off is project and rewind is off and there is another setting after rewind.

To be crystal clear; This is a Regular silent movie projector. It will not run, or play Super8, or Super 8mm movie films, with or without sound.

Have split image when watching 8mm film video.

If my memory serves me correctly, you should have an adjustment knob somewhere... and it seems like it was marked "frame". Another caution: I assume you know that 8mm and Super 8mm are not interchangeable. However, some of the old projectors (like a Kodak I had) had a twist knob that would change the projector back and forth in order to play either film. Just some thoughts...

Kodak m67 8mm movie projector struck in rev lever can be move to forward but miss run backwards

it is hard to explain but there is a metal pin on one of the mechanisms it can become bent out of place. you need to remove it and heat it up and put back straight. dont try to bend it straight as it will snap or the pin will come out of the metal part.

THREADING FILM IN A ELMO FP-C PROJECTOR

Is your film super 8mm? If yes, then the red sprocket above the lens should be pushed in, and the bottom black sprocket will stick out. If you have regular 8mm, then the black bottom sprocket should be pushed in. If the sprockets are not in the correct position, push the green lever forward (towards the screen) then open the two orange tabs, then push in the correct sprocket. Once you have the correct sprockets aligned, close the orange tabs. How to tell if you have 8mm or super 8mm film: Look carefully at the film image. If the sprocket hole is next to the middle of the image, it's super 8mm. If the sprocket hole is between images, it's 8mm.

I want to know how to rewind a film reel or reverse an Elmo FP-A movie projector. I have an old Elmo FP-A movie projector that works fine. I do not have the instruction manual that would explain how to...

There are 3 round knobs and 1 Autostart switch on the control panel. The key to rewinding this machine is by pushing the gray button down, while turning the Motor Knob to the "Run" position. Of course you'll need to start the original film back on its reel, directly. (Do not thread the film as you would normally.) BTW, you can show your films in reverse by using the Reverse button on the motor switch while its running. Hope this helps. Now, if I can find someone who can guide me in re-assembling my Elmo projector's lens, which I dis-assembled in order to clean the crud off the multi-lenses in the main lens unit itiself.
