Question about Watches

1 Answer

I have the WW38GD mdl and would like to adjust the reading as it is off by about 3 pounds according to the local WW location. Is there a way to adjust the read out?

I don't see any adjustments on the back and I lost the manual.

Alhamdulillah, the problem solved (at last) tks to IRONMAN (http://www.fixya.com/support/t579677-instructions_mens_festina_watch_16095#SameProblemContinued)

The steps are like this :
1. Pull the crown full, and turn it clockwise until you find the right day.
2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

and voila... the problem solved

SOURCE: Have a aqualand reads feet

Hello Billett Tony,

I understand that you were trying to see if your Citizen Aqualand Duplex JP1040-09E would change from feet to meters and Fahrenheit to Centergrade. This watch does not have that option it strickly displays in feet and fahreheit. The underwater depth display only goes to 260 feet then converts to show when max depth is achieved.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.com

According to the FAQ on citizenwatch.com, the hands are repeaters of the digital time. If you do not have the ability to adjust UTC independently on the digital readout from your local timezone, your watch probably needs service.

Thanks for contacting FixYa.
Seiko normally will send out up to 5 extra links on new watches. I am not sure on watches that are 3 years old but you will need to contact Seiko on this one. MAYBE a watchmaker locally will have some extra peices that will work too.
You can contact Seiko here:

How do I take off a link on the Tag Heuer WK1113

You need to pound out the adjustment link pins(s) . They are located at the ends of the band. If the watch is not too lold you can pound them out with a cut off piece of a paper clip. If it's too long it will bend when you hammer it so you will go through several of them before you finally get it out. If the band is old and the pin is stubborn you will need a very thin drift pin (tool) to push it through. Pound it through and the pin in the band will go out in front of it.

Date setting on Citizen 0510 chronograph

Try this method. Set the date until it reads a couple of days in the past and then set the correct time. Of course do not touch your date or time settings between the hours of 9PM-1AM. Wait until the next day, then move the hour hand forward until you reach the current date with the correct time.
