Hi John, easiest would be to disable your Power Management. Look for the screen or display settings and disable that so that your screen is not switched off.

Remember to enable it again to conserve your battery life.

Hope this helps.

From a Home screen, tap APPS-->SETTINGS-->Display.

How to Watch Movies on a Galaxy Tab?

If you have a netflix account, you can use the netflix app. Or if you are an xfinity user, you can download the xfinity tv app, sign in with your details and youre good. Now if you want to watch movies added on your phone, you can download the VLC app. But if the movie format is not supported like the mkv format, you might need to convert them.

Hello Alexis, in the bottom left hand corner is a cog icon that will take you to the settings menu. From here select system and you should see display mode at the top. Change this option to full screen.
If this does not fix the problem select the option to use a windowed full screen option just below.
Hope this works for you.

Cell phones are drained by running background apps, LCD brightness etc. Here are a few tips to help you. Most importantly, batteries do loose their strength (even when fully charged). I would possibly replace the battery every 2-3 years with a name brand battery, not a generic. Also keep in mind, when your phone is charged at 100%..unplug it. 4. Tap Brightness.
  5. Touch and slide the Brightness slider left to decrease the brightness setting.

  12. Tap Bluetoothto turn off.

Change application sync settings

Always light on

Check your display settings. Settings, Phone, Display: Check that Light Timeout is set (I have mine setup for 20 seconds). This should do the trick. If you wish to conserve yet more battery power, set "sleep mode" to on and set a power saver timeout (mine is set to 1 minute). good luck.
