Ummm. Take the $1133 in cash and buy a Sony KDS-60A2000.
Possibly call Sony customer relations, they may cover repair. I know this is possible.

I have a phillips 55pp9363H it went black getting sound no picture what happen

I'm not a TV tech but... check your "video out" connections and cables coming from your cable box or reciever. If those are correct/tight/not chewed up by your cat (hey, It happened to me!) try connecting another TV/monitor to the cables and see if that one works. If it does, You probably need a new lamp(s) for your Phillips.

Confirm that it is not the cable, otherwise it does indeed sound like your monitor is dead.

I need to purchase a new connector cord to connect my montior to my computer. My cat chewed my old cord and it's not working properly. Thank you.

The monitor uses a widely-available standard VGA cable with what are called D-sub connectors at both ends. You should be able to find one at a large office supply place like Office Depot or a retailer like Best Buy. (If you're outside of the US, you probably have similar stores in your area.) You can also purchase the cable online. Here is a suitable cable from Newegg.com, a company I buy from frequently. I've just used this as an example. There are many other sources.

Compaq Presario 900z. the screen turns to green all time.

I once had a cat that love to chew wires. He got at my monitor cable once and the picture had a yellow cast to it for months until it was replaced. Your wires may have been pinched inside the laptop. Have it checked out, the cables are replaceable they are just hard to get to.

KDS K717s 17" LCD Monitor

The white screen tells me that the display cable (inside your monitor) may be unattached or broken.
The color bands if they are vertical or horizontal lines tell me that your display cable needs to be replaced.

So overall replace your display cable. If this doesn't entirely fix the problem your logic board (inside the monitor) needs to be replaced.

Distorted picture

It's possible your video card or monitor is going bad. Which type of monitor do you have? If it's a CRT then my guess is....monitor.
Check all your cables and connections first.
If possible hook up a known working monitor to rule out memory or video card problems.Monitors have a refresh rate but I don't
recommend doing this without supervision or complete knowledge.
Check to make sure you don't have any interference close to your monitor. Interference would/could be: magnets/speakers/radio's/televisions/microwaves (not sure about micros.
If your have a LCD monitor I'm not sure all these suggestions apply.
