Divide the power in watts by the voltage and this will give a figure in Amps. The fuse should be slightly above this. ie; 1.2kw (1200w) divide by volts(120) = 10(Amps) Fuse should be around 10-12 amps. If in doubt consult the handbook or an electrician.

My fuse to my cooling fan keep blowing out

Maybe a problem with cooling fan or wiring circuit? You may even have to check your fuse box itself. I don't know the year--make--model--engine size?

You could remove the fan, then use jumper wires off the battery with same size inline fuse, if it still blows, what else could it be but the fan?

Where is engine fan fuse on 1991 geo prizm?

toyota corolla. it is.
but that depend on what engine option
the cooling systems totally vary by engine.
also with or with out air conditioning......???? it too can turn on this fan!
look it up on alldata.com
buy the FSM book
or
post engine, size. better the real engine name off the hood sticker
works BEST.
the 7a was offered in 1992 first. my guess is the fuse is a guess. right? of the 4 possible.?
bad FAN (hot wire it to test it) bad wires, bad 194F switch.
a FAN relay, a fan on the black red wire. relay to fan.
or a stuck open 194F engine coolant temp switch, a voltmeter finds this in 5min work. but depends on if A/C or not.

fuse, there is 30amp fuse link, marked fan
there is

Why is my 2005 equinox condenser fan not working?

Two possibilities:
1. The switches in the A/C system aren't turning it on, or
2. The fan fails to run when it has power due to blown motor.
To test find the motor to the fan and pull the power plug off it and make a fused jumper wire fused to the fuse size in the system test run the motor directly with power from the battery. IF the fan fails to run it is the fan motor, if it runs than, it is the A/C system controls that failed.

Heater fan fuse

David I dont have th schematics for your fuseblock layout for your vehicle but when I am having problems with a component in my vehicle I use a pair of pliers or a fuse puller and pull all of the fuses one at a time and check them for being blown. If I find a blown fuse I replace the one blown with the same size. If you are having problems with the fan motor I would suggest that you find where the wires hook up to the fan and check them for 12volts using a volt meter. If you have the voltage chances are that the motor in the fan is no good. Hope this helps

'06 VW Polo cooling fan not working - fuse inside fine - fuse on top of battery (5) blown - put in new one and blown again - need bigger size or what?

Don't put in a bigger size. If it blew once, it means something inside the fan has failed. Take a look for any obvious shorts in the wires: Failing that, Take out the fan, and see if it works. Most likely the short is right at the connector, where it vibrates out the most.

I want to put after market flexlite radiator and fans in my 1989 iroc. 350 can I bypass factory wiring ? And use after market?

You could, but if you do that, no matter what, always add a fused circuit. All the circuit would have to be is a thermostat, a connection to the battery, the fan, and a fuse, but always have the fuse.

Mercedes e220, horn, heater fan and electric

Horn and heater may be fuse related. The headrests have nothing to do with fuses. The switch is bad or going that way for the seat or the motors for the headrests are out.

The horn fuse spin it, or replace as corrosion from aluminum fuses cause problems. I suggest replacing them all with new copper barrel fuses. The blower motor fan is a strip fuse on the driver side strut mount in a tootsie roll sized case.
