Does anyone know what kind of transformer is in a soundcraftsmen class H power amp

Your Soundcraftsmen's transformer is ok. The protection circuit is kicking in and clicking because there's a problem on the outputs or else where.
Go to this link and read the last page for possible solutions. WARNING: Do not perform the reapir yourself if you do not have proper experience with high voltages!!!

Avalon 737 Pre Amp Repair (New York City)

If you are not looking for a warranty repair, any shop that handles high end audio repairs should be able to resolve this for you. Before you ship off the pre-amp, verify that it is, in fact, the pre-amp that is defective. The initial stage of the power amp can cause this as well. Try hooking up another pre-amp instead to verify the problem location.

No audio output - Marantz 2238

This can be as simple as a poor connection somwhere in the voltage regulator circuit or a defective driver transistor or output transistor. In any case, this is a simple repair for any shop that works on vintage receivers. If it is the outputs, that will be the most expensive repair from a parts perspective. The outputs will cost in the $5-$10 range for each one and it could be 2-4 pieces. If you wish to attempt this repair yourself, you will need a multimeter that has a diode checker. Let me know and I'll provide additional details and instructions.

Turn on the sx 750 lites blink for 15 sec to 1 min

This is a common problem. The power switch is sparking internally. The contacts need to be burnished. This will extend the life of the switch. The switch itself is no longer available. If you are not comfortable repairing this, check with a shop that deals with vintage audio gear.

No out put

It sounds like the switching power supply has failed.

You need to find a local repair shop. If you don't know of any, contact the local car audio dealers to see who they use. If several recommend the same shop, they probably do good work.

If you want to try to repair it yourself, you'd have to do a bit of troubleshooting.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Power to amp

It sounds like the power supply has failed (burnt smell). Any local shop that repairs car audio should be able to repair it. If you don't know which shops repair car audio, call the local car audio dealers and ask them who they send their amps to for service.
