I have a GBC Ultima 65 Laminator and the lamination is not adhering. The materials I am laminating are coming apart.

Are you letting the laminator reach operating temperature? If the ready light is on and it is not getting hot then you may have a problem with the temp. sensor. Put your hand near, but not on, the top roller to feel if it is getting hot. Don't touch the roller in case it is hot. If it is getting hot then wait for the ready light to illuminate(about 10 minutes).

. How do i fix my fellowes Mars A3 laminator it has jammed

Let it cool off for a while, then try reversing it. If it won't run it would have to be taken apart to clear the jam - a messy job! Fellowes does not usually consider these to be repairable but I would call them on their Toll-Free number to see what they can offer (800) 955-0959

Laminator wont feed

If the motor is running, then the cog that drives the roller system may have failed. Laminators built today are made with plastic (nylon) roller drive cogwheels that crack. Especially if the fed media is too thick. Put the machine into run mode and feed a single piece of card (a playing card will do) into the feed slot. Lightly hold the card and see if you can feel the card moving. To check if the motor is in reverse, feed the card into the output slot.

If you are handy with a screwdriver, then with it disconnected, remove the lid (about six screws underneath) and check the rollers for old lamination sheets that could be stuck to one of them. This would limit the feed gap between the rollers, preventing you from putting your media in.

I have a Lamiart-3201 laminator and the rollers are not working - or i cannot feed my item through the laminator. Usually I just put it in and the laminator feeds it out the other end...

Make sure your laminator is heated up properly before feeding material through. Usually, for a low-end laminator, you will wait anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes before it is completely heated up, allowing you to use it. There should be a red button that will tell you it is NOT ready yet, and a green button will tell you it is.

I have a scotch brand laminator tl901- it is jammed...and making a clicking noise...is there a way to open the system and try to unjam it?

First, make sure that the unit is unplugged and has sufficient time to cool off. Then remove six screws on the bottom of the laminator. The screw driver shaft must be thin enough to fit into the holes where the screws are located. Two are very easy to find -- one on each side in deep holes. The other four are hidden under small black rubber disks that the laminator rests on. peel up the rubber disks and remove the rest of the screws. At this point it is easy to remove the cover and remove the jam. To replace the cover you must use a thin tool to pull back the release level so it will fit into its opening in the cover. Replace the six screws and you should be able to ready to laminate again.
