There are basically two arms to a compass. One arm usually has a point, which you can remove and reverse and or replace with different points for different paper. The other arm has a leg which can be disconnected and replaced with other legs. This arm usually holds the lead or a ruling pen. To remove the leg simply turn the thumb wheel counter clockwise ( lefty loosy, righty tighty) untl you can pulll it out. The other legs have the same fitting you slide in and then tighten the thumb wheel. You may have a very long leg you can add to make a very large circle. Hope this helps.

Have selected something wrong and all trains run at the same time. I can't select individual ones?

if its true and you just don't believe so , that all engines have individual addresses then its also possible you have mistakenly selected the auto cab mode on your controller , this assumes you wish to connect all your engines together and use them all to pull long train , so it powers all the engines with same throttle (just like the real thing )

Instructions use for a Alvin 916B compass

If you want to draw the biggest circle possible then join the two beams together with the black rectangular piece on the right in the picture. It has thumb wheels that tighten and loosen to grip the beam. put one trammel point on the far left and one on the far right of the joined beam. This will give you the largest radius possible.

How to set ip of the router as static ip for my internet cafe

OK, it is NOT the "Router" that has to be set to a Staiv IP, that can ONLY be done, via your service provider, you Router/Modem, is a Slave, device, that gets it's address FROM, a DNS server, via, DHCP, now, IF your ISP assigns you a static IP, then you can do as you want. However, you can still use a dynamic, IP, and do the same, you merely have to have an individual, name, whatever... & register at DNS servers, and that way whenever anyone want to connect to your website, the Name is stored on a DNS server, when the "Request" is issued. "where is so" and so..Then, the search engine, It looks up that INDIVIDUAL ID NAME, , and and regardless of actual "Address", will connect up the requester with the website.. then anyone can connect, and they don't have to know your IP address, they merely type in your "Domain Name" or Website name" and the DNS will do all the rest.

I have two updr 100's, they print fine by themselves, but they don't work together to print one after another. I have them connected properly with different scsi setting, and the second printer is...

there is a third piece you need to daisy chain the printers together. I do not remember the name off hand. I was wondering the same thing until I read one of the "full" manuals.  the piece can be found on ebay it has been going out lately for 200-300 dollars. thats why I stopped looking for the piece 2 years ago.
