Methods how to do white washing on pine wood?

First use a stain blocking primer such as Killz. If it is an item that is outside use a good exterior paint two coats. Inside items use interior paint two coats. Don't use exterior paint inside cause it can contain pesticides that can cause harm to you. Pine will seep sap for a few years so you may need to repaint sooner than usual.

How to white wash pine wood

Prime the raw wood with a stain blocking primer such as Killz. The use a high quality paint for the finish coat. Use two coats for a longer lasting finish. Be sure to us exterior paint only for exterior jobs. It contains pesticides that if used inside can make you ill.

How to stain fiberglass entry door?

You cannot use regular stain on a Fiberglass door. Stain is made to soak into wood. It cannot soak into Fiberglass. It will peel right off in several months depending on the weather. A solid stain may would work for a while, but it will not hold up as well. Whereas stain is made to soak into wood, paint is made to sit on top of surfaces. There are some nice paints that look like stained wood if that is the effect you are looking for. But if you want the new finish to last on your door, use paint. Make sure you clean the door thoroughly with a degreaser, prep solvent or paint thinner

Wood screws stuck with paint, can't remove

This question my be in the wrong place, but here goes:
Try using a few drops of paint stripper to soften the paint, then scrape paint from the head of the screw. If this is really a laptop, be careful not to get paint stripper on the plastic - it will probably dissolve it!

The sun is so harsh on wood windowsills they crack in a couple of years and have to be repainted. Someone told me to use aluminum oil based paint on them prior to painting them. All I found is 402...

Usually when you have cracking on your windows, there's several variables including sunlight. One of the biggest problems is using the incorrect primer or a cheap paint. Contrary to what many believe, a primer that dries extremely hard is not ideal for exterior surfaces. Wood expands and contracts with heat, cold and moisture. A high quality latex primer, topped with a high quality exterior latex paint will give you the best results. It allows for flexibility but offers great protection. Some prefer an oil/alkyd based primer. This is fine as long as it's a slow drying primer. The quick drying primers have hardeners in them that don't flex well. Be sure to remove any loose and flaking paint before you prime them. There are places where you can cut corners with painting. I wouldn't do it on exterior paint. One last thing to be aware of- be sure it's not lead paint you're working with. That changes everything.

Try to squirt a little gas in the carb and see if it pops or tries to run for a short time. The diaphram in the carb is probably old and hard. That would be the first place I would look.
