Hi. Have your car aircon evaporator cleaned. Check also the drain hose. All water should go out of the car through the drain hose. There might be something clogging up the hose that is why water will run out the floor and that causes also the aircon to work intermittently.

Have a good one!

Aircon condensation

Hi, If you are in the cooling posistion, you need to check the filter on this unit as when they get plugged up it will cause the evaporator coil to ice up and condensation to overflow down the front of the indoor unit. This is where the filter should be located behind the front cover. You may have to brush dirt from the coil carefully, and try and flush the drain for the condensation to run out the line or hose. This should take care of the ice problem. If you are in the heat season, let me know and we will go from there. Just look me up.
Sincerely, Shastalaker7
PS The filter may be foam. If so, just wash it out and ring it out. This will clean it.

MY AIRCON IS BUILDING UP SOME ICE

Sounds like it's low on charge, dirty coil. Is this a ductless unit or window?

My KOLIN window type remote control AIRCON is building up ICE

If you already had the coils and filter cleaned and the blower is OK, that only leaves the refrigerant charge.
You are probably low on refrigerant.

Does this ice maker need a pump or is it built in zdis15css

It has a circulation pump that continuosly supplys water over a plate that forms a slab of ice on it. As the slab gets thicker the resistance values change in the ice and the machine opens a hot gas solenoid operated valve which floods the plate with heat from the condenser below. This makes the slab slide down the shoot onto a wire grid that is heated. The slab is cut into tiny little cubes and drops off into the ice bin. So yes the machine has a circulator pump. Ever so often you need to put it into the clean mode and add some nickleguard or ice machine cleaner to keep the pump and its components all happy happy.
