Why not set up again at the repair shop without a password. This will enable use whether or not a password is set.

SOURCE: Can't restore factory intallations and settings: Vaio VGN-FE880E

Are you doing DESTRUCTIVE recoveries or are you doing NONDESTRUCTIVE recoveries? Try another hard drive in the machine and recover to that. Nondestructive recoveries replace the operating system without destroying the personal data. Its possible the original problem is propagating over to the recovered systems. Do a destructive recovery. Understand any data not backed up will be destroyed. Possible the original problem was a trojan virus.

SOURCE: user password lockout

Hard disk password is set from the BIOS. It is usually set in conjunction with the Power On Password. This password is stored on the EEPROM chip and is very difficult to crack - no backdoor passwords. It is used to prevent unauthorized access to the laptop and the data on the hard disk. Removing the hard disk and inserting it into another computer will not allow access to data without the HDD password.

SOURCE: user password lockout - Vissta home premium

you can search for a password boot disk which will disable the administrator password.
There are dozens of these types of programs but one program I recommend is windows password reset 6.0
http://www.resetwindowspassword.com
Download the iso file and burn it to a disk to create the boot disk,

that simple. Configure your pc or laptop to boot in the cd drive,

insert the CD and it would boot then just disable the password and
restart.
Took about 5 minutes for the whole process.

A quick short cut is to open a browser if you use Internet Explorer and select tools menu, then select Internet options. When the box opens then select the advanced tab and scroll down until you see a check box under security and check allow active content from CD to run on my computer.

A505 S6970 Toshiba laptop HDD#1/SDD#1 password

Maybe you mean log on password. If you never enter a password to log on, but suddenly when turning on the computer, you are prompted to enter a password to log on, but always failed. You try to log in using an administrator user but failed. Chances are, the operating system is infected with viruses.
So, the operating system has controlled the virus.

solution:
Install the new operating system (not repair the operating system)

It's going to take you longer to put it on a disc than to get rid of the password.

Most computer shops as well as the "Geek Squad" have a small program called Samurai Password reset. It takes less than 10 minutes and will clear all passwords for all operating systems. I am not sure what they charge for the service but it is not a big deal. This program os designed to clear User account passwords and not BIOS or startup passwords.
