3 and a half hours of audio takes up hundreds of gigabytes. Your recording didn't take.

Testimonial: "Lawrence, Thank you for your reaction. My experiences are, that a concerto of 3.5 hrs takes about 700MB per hour. This means that 2.11 GB comes in the right direction. Recording is only two tracks, meant for stereo reproduction. The sound of this particular concert was available at first. I could listen to it and it sounded perfect. But I listened two times to channel 2. So I decided to make a copy and make it "safe". This is before I started trying to get the stereo signal. Any clues ? Thanks, Aart"

Your tracks may or may not still be in stereo depending on where your pan setting was for the inputs you used to make the original recording. Refer to page 57 of your manual for an explanation.

Lawrence, I tried the settings as identified by page 57. No help. So now I am obliged to state the full procedure, hoping a FILE solution is still possible. The first recorded music file was copied under the same name as the original file. I deleted one of them, may be the original. When I rename the file available at present and try to unerase or undelete the original file probably still available on the HDD. I wonder whether this could be done with Norton Utilties on a Windows XP or Windows 98 machine, both I have available. Or is a different FILE organisation valid on the AW16G which needs othe approaches ? Please give reaction. And advise. Aart

File recovery may be possible if no other files have been saved since. New files saved may overwrite parts of the old file Piriform makes a product called Recuva. It's a free program or you can opt for the Pro version. That's your best bet fore file recovery.

pull out your toner unit and look at the front to see if there is a missing spot on the roller where there is no toner. if not you probly need a new drum.

SOURCE: MY DELL PRINTER: ALL-IN-ONE 926 USED TO GIVE ME

Hello, Eddie.

I'm sorry that we have not yet found a solution for you.

But, I believe the problem lies with the All-in-One's driver (software that runs the device).

So, I would suggest that you reinstall the driver. It can be found at this site:

Are you in the USA?
These are all mostly pretty old units by now but pro equipment none the less.
It's got circuitry problems but may be worth repair as I'm not sure anything like this is made anymore.

Canon MP130 - warning keeps coming up that the 'waste ink absorber is nearly full. What do I need to do to correct this, thanks for your help.

Hi Teasel850,

There is an internal counter that prompts this message. There is software to reset the counter called MPTool. But why complicate things when it can be reset manually using the following steps.

Reset Canon Pixma MP130 Printer
  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press the MENU key, and then SCAN, COPY and SCAN again - entered the service mode.
  3. Select NVRAM ACCESS further OK.
  4. Select SET ABS-M LEVEL and set value equal to zero.
  5. Select SET ABS-R LEVEL (if any) and is set to zero.
  6. Turn off the printer POWER button.
Best regards

Mike

Waste Ink Absorber is almost full

You don't have to change the waste ink absorber. There are two in the MP130 and they cost about $15 each. I have found though that you can just reset the counter and let the printer run without any problems. I have done this with three now with no problems. Reset procedure is:

1. Start Printer
2. Press button MENU, then SCAN, COPY and again SCAN – the printer will go into the service menu.
3. select NVRAM ACCESS and further BY OK.
4. select SET Abs- m level and reduce to zero.
5. select SET Abs- r level (if there is) and reduce to zero.
6. Turn off printer by button POWER.

Maybe you could pull the hard drive out and mount it inside a computer, and format it that way.
