Manufacturer will provide wiring diagram if requested. If it's just the kill switch it doesn't matter-just put them on the switch. As long as you're not shorting them to ground, the wiring isn't crucial in a little motorised unit like this-that is: if you get it wrong, no harm but no go/ get it right and your going.

I have a dead short somewhere in the wiring for 6 recessed ceiling lights. How do I trouble shoot this to find the short

Test each light separately.
Black Hot wire arrives at one screw on the switch. The Hot black wire going to Lights connects to other screw on the switch.
The White Neutral that completes the circuit to lights is connected with other white wires that are covered with wire nut pushed to back of box.
Open up light#1, and the Hot and Neutral arrive from switch box.
The Hot and Neutral going to lights#2-6 are also located inside light#1 box.
Check each wire for signs of high heat and burning. Check each wire if the insulation has been sliced, or cut short, or if copper is visible because wire nut does not cover wires correctly
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-select-right-wire-nut.html
Disconnect Hot and Neutral going to lights#2-6, so switch is only turning on light#1.
Test if there is a short when turning switch ON.
Then repeat step, so switch turns on light#1 and light#2, but light#3-6 are disconnected.

Whirlpool dishwasher: two loose wires need to be reconnected. Unable to determine which termings to reconnect the two loose wires.

if both wires go too the same switch/componet and these are the only two wires that connect to this componet it doesn't matter which wire goes where.

I have a fan the is connected to 3 switches. If one switch is on the other switches no longer work

Hello. I can help you. Assuming that all three switches used to work and now you have this problem, you have a switch that is worn out or has a wire that has come loose.
Turn off the power to this fan and open up one switch at a time. look for a disconnected wire, or a loose wire. If the wires were pushed into the clip on the switch check carefully as these little clips often fail after a while.
I seriously think you will find a loose wire and that will solve your problem, once you reconnect it.
If that is not the case, you will have to replace one switch at a time until you have replaced the bad one.
I recommend that you make a diagram of each switch once you have it out in the open noting which color of wire goes to each screw or spot. You will always have one screw on a switch which is a slightly different color from the rest. Always note which color wire goes to the odd color screw and make sure you always hook that wire to the odd color screw in the new switch.

I need to switch out the door and I find that there is a harness of wires and I don't see a detachable plug in order to reconnect wiring controls for windows, locks, and mirror....from the replacement door...

Find the wiring harness under the dash that goes to the door, and use barrel type splicers to reconnect the wires. First compare the wire colors to be sure they match.

Need to replace the HPM dimmer switch with a normal switch

This is not a difficult job. First of all go out to a home depot or other hardware store and purchase one three way switch. They come in white, cream, and brown.

Back home, kill the power to the lights you are working on. Then open up the dimmer switch, the other switch doesnt need to be changed. Now, simply draw a diagram of where each wire color is now connected and remove the old dimmer. Reconnect the wires. Remember that the white wire goes on the dull color screw and the other two go on the brass screws. Turn the power back on.

If you do all this and the switch only works correctly part of the time just reverse the two wires on the bright brass screws. Please mark this answer as a fixya!
