1140 is for the **** spring/ steering angle sensor. In the steering column. 1202 is the brake pedal switch. I would check fuses first. Your owners manual will tell you which ones.

Much play in steering wheel; possibly the 3 set screws in the bottom of steering column? how to fix? this is on 1987 chev 1/2 ton

Replace steering column with a better one or you must break down the steering column all the way down untill you the screws in the bottom of the column and tighten them up. It is some work and you may need to video while you are taking it apart so you can remember how to reinstall it.Good Luck!!!

Have a problem with ignition switch on 2004 Ford territory.after starting engine key will not return automatically to run positionyou have to turn back manually.ford says this is acommon problem to repair...

Hi. I am a Locksmith and i have come up with a brilliant way of fixing this problem so it will never happen again. Dont even have to take the steering column off the car. I can come to your car (Melbourne Metro Only) and fix the problem for $400 and GUARANTEE it will never break again.
reliablekev@gmail.com if you need me.
Unlike fords poorly designed Die Cast spring stop in the switch that always breaks. My repair is a hardened steel pin that will never break. I have fixed several already.

Loking for fuse box/relays diagram for 1994 Olds 88 Royale

Fuses (located on a swing down unit near the steering column or in the glove box) protect all the major electrical systems in the car. In case of an electrical overload, the fuse melts, breaking the circuit and stopping the flow of electricity.

I suggest check your 1994-Oldsmobile-Eighty-Eight-Owners-Manual for descriptions (page 223 and next).

Hope this help..

Cruise control doesnt work,,,i there any fuse for it? this is for a cadillac deville 94

Cadillac's of this year have been known to have the wire(s) fromt he cruise control break in the steering colum. This is due to the tilt wheel moving up and down over the years. You should be able to either repair the broken wire or get a used unit (turn signal/cruise) and wiring harnes at a salvage yard. The wiring runs along the steering column to a connector on top of the column about half way down.
Check your fuses first. I believe the cruise and a couple of other accessories are on the same circuit. Is there anything else that doesn't work? (i.e. cigarette lighter, dome lights...) If you have the owner's manual that would help OR a trip to the public library in the auto section...Hope this helps.
