How do I install a #652-DS77 needle in a RCA sterio phonograph

Have purchased a #652-DS77 needle for a vintage phonograph. Need instructions on how to install the needle.

I have a vintage RCA Victor turntable from the 50's or 60's. I need to replace the needle housing, but cannot find a model or serial number to look for parts.


Turnatables then used ceramic or crystal cartridges. All you need to do is look for one of them plus something that will fit in the space in the arm. You will probably not find the original cartridge.

Plays records too fast, needle cartridge is loose


Many of these old phonographs play a little too fast. one possible fix is to rig up a dimmer switch into an "extension" cord that you plug this vintage phonograph into. The lower voltage will slow it down and you will be able to adjust the speed.
