The locking nut is a large plstic housing under the spray arm. You have to turn it (usually counter-clockwise) about 30 degrees to release tabs that keep it secured. Look at the pictures of the part at ;
http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/G0606383-00005.png see item 454
If you cannot access this link, go to the searspartsdirect.com , and search dishwashers by your model number. Select any of the models that appear. then search for "spray arm". Select the sprayarm item in blue, then hit the back button and the diagram lists will appear. (Keep hiding the popup help windows.) Select motor pump mechanism. In the picture you can see the locking tabs on the lower inside edge of 454 that lock onto the outside tabs of part 450.
Keep an eye on that washer 453 not to lose it.

How do I change front drivers wheel bearing on mitsibishi colt equipe 2005

Take off the brake assemble meaning remove the roater caliper clean any dirt off the control arm and axel mount take down the upper and lower ball joints then pry them down to allow the axel carrier to pivot down then there should be three bolts behind the bearing remove those and rent a barring puller from autozone then apply the puller to the barings and they should come out this May require a press installer or as in removing the barring you might have to use some wd-40 to spray on the back side of the barring and some hits with a sludge hammer to break it loose if the puller isn't allowed to force the barring out simply and to re assemble it is just the opposite also grease the axel shaft and make sure the surface is clean before installation and use anti seize on all screws and ect this shall help you out

Blade will not engage while running

Make sure the chain brake is not set. If ok, remove the side plate, chain and bar. Make sure that the interior part of the clutch rotates when you pull the starter. If ok, try washing out the clutch with carburetor spray cleaner to remove excess oil. Fire up the engine to see if it drives the outer part of the clutch. If ok, replace the bar, chain, and side plate. Make sure the adjusting tang drops into a large hole at the drive end of the bar. Adjust the bar so that the chain doesn't droop from the lower side of the bar, but allows the chain to be turned by hand. Chain teeth cut toward you on the bottom. Hope this helps!

I need to replace my rear sway bar endlink bushings to pass inspection. any directions/assistance?

(Caution ) sway bar end is under pressure.

1.go to AutoZone get new linkage bars or just the bushings depends on wether the bar has grooves wore into them from use and new nuts. 2. Raise and safely support vehicle,3. remove tire, 4.using floor jack safely support the lower suspension arm and raise to remove pressure on the linkage bar between swaybar end and lower arm 5. remove the nut under the lower suspension arm that retains the swaybar linkage ,6. loosen and remove nut at swaybar end. 7.at this time only lower the lower suspension arm enough to remove the linkage bar. install new bushings or bar to the swaybar end don't completely tighten nut at this time.8. install new lower bushing then jack the lower suspension arm back up aligning the lower end of the linkage with the hole in the arm once pressure is lifting the swaybar install the lower nut and tighten at this time Torque top nut to35-47 Ft lb and bottom nut 8-10- Ft lb lower the jack from under the lower arm and install tire lower vehicle ready to go Appx 1 Hr per side

Dishes not clean. Lower spray arm possibly not moving.

Remove the lower basket so you can access the lower arm.

Does it spin freely? If not, remove and clean the rotating point. Make sure the spray nozzles are not clogged and there as no chunks of stuff inside the spray arm.
