How to get ink stains from the inside of a dryer?

Hi jchbell
Take the dryer out to a well ventilated area.
Wear gloves, use a rag dampened with Lacquer Thinner and hold your breath alot...
Wipe the ink stains with the Lacquer thinner and it will remove most all of the stains to the rag.

Need to get ink out of my gas dryer but everything it says to use online is flamable. what can i use?

Most things that can remove ink can cause damage to the glaze finish on the dryer tub. Go ahead and use a specialty product that will remove the ink, but use it sparingly and dab it onto a rag.
Once the ink has been removed to your satisfaction, take a moderately damp cloth with a mild detergent (dish soap like dawn or ajax will work.) Wash the area where the ink remover was in contact with the tub. (you may want to rotate the tub manually so the spot is at the bottom of the machine)
After washing the area, then dry it with a towel.
If you still smell the odor from the ink remover then, allow the dryer door to be open for about an hour or so to allow any combustable vapors that may still remain to air out before using the dryer again. Or you can run the dryer without heat in "Air Dry" for about 30 min until you cannot smell the vapors in the exhaust anymore.
Hope this helps

Try Goof Off, it is a cleaner, sometimes you can find it in the paint section of your hardware store.

Stain in dryer

This will work. Soak white towel or other white fabric in bleach water, then slightly wring them out, leaving very wet. Then put them in dryer, on low or fluff cycle. Run for 60 minutes or more. This should rub off all the ink in the dryer. You may have to repeat if you have alot of ink. I have done this a few times and it has always work, good luck.

Ink in the dryer

Rubbing alcohol will work to remove most of it if you use alot of elbow grease.

What I found worked the best and quickest was a Mr Clean Magic Eraser wetted acetone nail polish remover. Leave the dryer door open to let it air dry, then put a couple of white towels soaked in bleach water and run the dryer on a non-heat cycle to remove any remaining smudges.

To be paranoid, I then ran the same towels through the washer and dryed them on high heat to make sure there was no ink I missed that might ruin any further clothes.
