Sorry to say, doctors never do figure out what causes some cases of neuropathy, so they just label it "idiopathic neuropathy". Nerve damage caused by diabetes is one of the most common forms of neuropathy. It can also be caused by injury or crossing legs too much, thus decreasing circulation and according to Healthline:

  • "kidney disorders in which high amount of toxins build up in the body and damage nerve tissue

  • hypothyroidism -- in this disorder, the body doesn't produce enough thyroid hormone, which can lead to fluid retention and pressure surrounding nerve tissues

  • disease that cause chronic inflammation, which can spread to the nerves or damage connective tissue surrounding nerves

  • deficiencies of vitamins E, B1, B6, and B12, which are essential to nerve health and functioning, may also cause neuropathy."

Best to actually see a doctor about this one. If you want to self-diagnose, do a Google search. There are lots of possibilities.

SOURCE: tingling sensation in face after

Try using a sunscreen made with a physical sunblock , as opposed to a chemical one. Titanium oxide is the most common physical block you will find. Also, make sure you are using a product made specifically for the face. The other option, and one that I use on my family including my infant, is Jane Iredale powder spf. It's a total mineral block that can be used on sensitive skin.

My legs are tingling /tired when I lie down at night. upon getting out of the bed and walking about 15 steps the tingling starts to go away. could my 1-2 inch thick mattress pad be a problem like smel

Tingling in limbs is usually due to poor circulation. If the pad is pressing on the leg blood vessels then that effects circulation. Try to sleep a few days with a pillow under your legs so that feet are slightly elevated. Consult your medical practitioner to confirm no physiological issues.
