Who can repair a Blue Hat Vengeance Radio Controlled car. I purchased two a red and a black one and was told that MerchSource would not replace the vehicles? A little concerned here in NH
Both of the radio controlled cars are broken. The back wheel section is broken away from the car itself and the shocks are not attached to the car. These cars were just removed from the original packaging. Please Help.

Because of regulations set by the authority in your (any) country which controls the radio spectrum usage, toys in particular are only allowed to operate on certain frequency bands and the transmitter must be controlled by signal sources (oscillators) that are 'crystal' controlled (quartz). These maintain a very stable signal at a specific frequency just like a 'quartz watch.'
The receivers need not be that stable so the controlled toy has a simpler circuit that can be tuned but this isn't useful in your case since that would only result in reducing the sensitivity (range) unless the transmitter crystal was changed.
I'm sure the manufacturer has anticipated the possibility that two or more of these toys might be operated in close proximity and probably has multiple models with different crystals available but unless you can contact them, this won't do you much good as you would likely have to return the toy to have it changed.
I sent an email to firstname.lastname@example.org which is customer service for Blue Hat Toy Company. She emailed me a PDF file manual for the Teach and Talk Laptop. Without the manual you would never be able to get the game functions figured out.....
If you need the manual I would be happy to forward the pdf file to you.
I just bought a hover Lites copter today.(8/22/08) on the bottom of the box is a sticker that reads >> "Please do not return damaged item to retail store. To buy replacement parts, call 1-800-374-2744 or please visit our websites www.bluehatbrands.com or www.hover-lites.com "
I tried the phone number before posting this and it is a valid number.
Also paperwork indicates the copters are distributed by MerchSource LLC, Foothill Ranch, California
