1: Is the unit still under warranty - if so call vizio they will send a tech to your home free of charge to fix it for free! They are the absolute best . I will not buy any other TV than a Vizio for this simple fact they back what they make no hassles! I own one and had trouble afteer almost a year , I called them and they sent out a tech to fix it , done no charge, it has been fine for the last 8 years! Other than that , you have what is known as a connection problem, could be a 'cold' solder joint or a lcd connector that needs to be reseated ..

SOURCE: Vizio 42 in TV LCD HDTV white line across to of

That white line (usually jagged) is actuallly part of the transmitted picture. However, you are not intended to see it because it is located in what is known as the 5% overscan area. Your TVs today are more than just cable ready... they are a versital, technology filled multimedia display. You can see that line because the screen size or wide mode you are using is intended for 1080p/24 signals. You have 0% overscan with this screen size setting. This allows you to see ALL of the picture, including portions of the picture the broadcaster did not intend for you to see. You can change your screen size using the Wide feature in the Setup menu. See pg.62 of your user manual for details and descriptions of the various wide modes.

Hello, I have a Vizio E600i-B3 that turns on but has vertical lines across the screen. What is the problem with this TV? Is there anything that can be done???

Below is a youtube video I guy did to address that problem. Although your's is a Vizio, Sony provides a troubleshooting guide at this place, it may be similar to your Vizio model and help you.

Vizio base stand model vx37l

You can get replacement Vizio remotes from Walmart, $10. As far as the pedestal, I can't locate one either. I would suggest checking Ebay frequently. I recycle LCD sets and come across rare pedestals. If you would like, visit our website, click on Contact US and leave your contact info. I will put you down on our Wish List and contact you if we get the pedestal in stock.

Im trying to see were the radio fuse is in my 1999 ford windstar could u help me

The fuse panel is on the driver's side down by the brake pedal. Fuse # 6 (15A) is one of the radio fuses. It will be the first fuse under the relays on the far right side. Also check fuse #18 (10A) this will be the forth fuse down on the far left side. Lastly check fuse #25 (10A) this is the second fuse in from the left on the bottom row of fuses.

Red line down right side of screen

I would have a tech come out and look at it. Sometimes the ribbon connectors from the upper or lower buffer boards have poor or corroded contacts. Should'nt be a major deal since it comes and goes.

VIZIO P42hd PS42a plasma Picture has two vertical lines (one red/orange, one blue) going down the right-hand side of the screen. Lines are clearly visible

The panel is almost certainly bad. The only fix for this is to replace the whole panel which would cost more than the whole TV.
