Question about Nokia BH-503 Bluetooth Headset
When it was not on charging mode, I tried turning it on and there is indicator blue light showing. When I tried charging the unit, it is working and when I unplugged the charger from the socket it immediately turns off. I tried hard reset and other troubleshooting that can possibly make it work but still to no avail. Is this a physical problem now ? Any other troubleshooting tips would be a great help.
Sounds like you have a bad battery in the headset

You just have to press your blutooth on/off button a bit longer for 15 to 20 sec, when the LED blinking stops (noted that the LED should be turn ON but not blinking), try to search the device again with your phone. By that time your blutooth headset should be recognized by your phone, then select and enter the code 0000.

Thanks sleekycupid.. Even i had a same problem just followed the steps you said.
Step 1: Switch off the bluetooth device.
Step 2: Charge the bluetooth device.
Step 3: Then hold the device button till the green indicator blinks faster than normal.
Step 4: Now try to pair the device from your mobile.
Step 5: Mobile will ask you a passcode, press 0000 and enter.
You might not follow step 1 and 2. Just start from step 3.

You have to hold the button down on the headset controller for approximately 6 seconds until the little LED on it flashes blue very quickly. The X6 will see it and match a pair automatically. If you just switch the headset on and the light flashes green the x6 will ask you for a passcode ... it doesn't matter what you put in (it seems) even '0000' ....it won't match the pair. HTH
