Question about Bosch Dryers
500 series Model # WTMC3321us
To remove drum/fan drive motor:
• Remove rear panel & rear air duct. Remove belt from belttensioner. Remove top panel & drum if needed for better access.
• Disconnect terminal connector from motor, then remove two screws from motor mount & one screw holding fan to front shield. Lift rear of motor mount up and slide entire assembly toward rear of dryer.
• While holding motor shaft, not rotor fins, remove fan blade from motor shaft. Remove three screws, then remove fan housing from motor.
• Remove spring clamps by pushing ends of them down and away from motor. Lift motor up from motor mount.
Cage motor is the best blow out with compressed air. Check your breaker first and then the wiring. Check power coming from the timer next. With a load and resistance that you had, you could have tripped one of the breakers.Since you have bypassed the thermal fuse, it probably is the timer switch.

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.

SOURCE: kenmore 100.85081400 no heat
check the thermal fuse on the blower housing if its open some units wont heat,also check the heating element if heated electrically,or the ignitor on gas fired units,by the number you provided i believe you meant its a 110.85081400 instead of the 100.85081400 (and is electrically heated) you provided which is produced by whirlpool for sears (kenmore) also there is a control board located inside behind the control panel that may be a culprit,but check the first two things i suggested at the top
