Go into the settings menu and do a hard reset. You will loose all stinks and files but it will behave like it is new out of the box

SOURCE: i hv lose my 5gb space its showing in itunes as OTHER USED space

Restore your iPhones to 1.1.3.
This will reset the data and datapaths in the phone.

If you are avoiding a restore because you are using a jailbroken phone, the ziphone application (http://www.ziphone.org/) will jailbreak any phone, including 1.1.3

The best thing you can do when your phone goes on the fritz, is restore to the latest firmware.

I had the same problem and stumbled onto the solution - go to the \ directory on your device and delete the Facebook.vol file. Then start up the Facebook application again. That fixed the problem for me.

Storage is full. When I uninstall apps to free up storage, will my personal 'stuff' still be available?

In general uninstalling apps shouldn't affect your "personal stuff" such as pictures, videos, notes, etc. There are exceptions such as a messaging app. If you uninstall that app you may lose any conversations that you had associating to that app. I hope that helps.

I have a 7 in rca voyager tablet and until today it is perfect. I have always had a 16g sd card in with no problem. It shows in appa and storage but won't let me use it. I don't understand? Hello me..

When you say "anything", do you mean photos, videos and such, or are you trying to move apps to the SD? Most smartphones and tablets use SD only for storage of video, music, and photo data. Apps can't be loaded there and a few will allow app data there, but only if the app writers allowed for it. Apps are getting larger, but tablet and phone internal memory storage has been slow to keep up. As a result, users are faced with the ever-increasing likelihood that they will run out of storage for their apps and then must either upgrade to a newer device with more memory, or sacrifice some older apps. Its too bad we can't delete the bloatware apps that the manufacturer installs that we never use.

Hasn't saved anything to the memory card because his tablet won't allow him to .. It keeps saying not enough space it's a 8GB memory card

The internal memory cards of some Android devices are partitioned for app storage and installation. Some of them have partitions that are quite small such as one Gigabyte or smaller. The remainder of the storage cannot be used for apps.

If it keeps saying not enough memory space then chances are the app partition is full. The only way to free up some space is to uninstall some apps that are stored there but not being used. You can see which apps can be uninstalled in Settings > Apps and look at them one by one to see if an uninstall option is listed. Simply click *uninstall* to remove them from the app storage partition. This will free up some extra space for some new apps or for updates to older apps you still like and use.

Also some of the apps might show an option to move them to an external SD card (if your device has a slot for one and if an SD card in inserted therein). Do move any and all to the external SD card of you have that option as that will also free up that space from the internal SD card.

I have a Android Maxx. it keeps showing I have low storage space. I have cleared everything I could possibly clear. still keep showing low storage.

hey, i had this problem too it doesn't have to do with space on your memory card or anything it has to do with how much internal storage space is allocated to apps. so to free up space you need to uninstall some apps and the low storage space notification will go away

Clear up phone storage space

Write down the apps you like to keep, remove your Sim and memory card, do a factory reset. If this doesn't work, think about getting another cell phone.

Which app are you trying to delete? The are certain system apps that cannot be deleted which include, Photos, Clock, Map, Music... to name a few. These won't have an "X" and cannot be deleted.

How do i uninstall an app on my HP altec ansing

Anti Virus programs, as a rule, depending on the Anti Virus software, require a removal tool obtained from the software manufacturer's website, to remove it completely. If it's not used can cause conflicts with other Anti Virus software resulting in issues. So What was the Virus Software you downloaded? Didn't your machine come with Anti Virus, a trial version?
