It is an antibiotic taken for specific types of bacterial infection. It isn't taken for just any old illness, so really you should see a doctor about this.

It reacts badly with gout medicines and some vaccines.

Possible side effects are
- allergic reaction
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- stomach upset
- nausea
- headache

SOURCE: what are the following medications prescribe for? meclizine, cyclobenzapr and benzonatate

Hi, there are many sites available to check for these things even if you only have a description of the pill you can look up what it is. I will post the link to the site I'm using. But, Meclizine is an antihistamine that is used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by motion sickness and/or dizziness and loss of balance caused by vertigo. Cyclobenzapr, I could not find in my search, but Cyclobenzaprine did come up though. The first link will take you to the descriptions, which include it to be a muscle relaxant the same as Flexeril. Lastly, Benzonatate is used to treat coughs, caused by the common cold and other breathing problems (e.g., pneumonia , bronchitis, emphysema, asthma).
Taking any medication that is unknown to you which therefore, probably doesn't belong to you (pharmacists usually explain your new perscriptions to you) is not advised though by most and within the medical community.

What are the side effects to Talam tablets

This is something that should be discussed between patient and doctor. The potential side effects of it are outweighed by the benefits, if the medication is effective and can be tolerated by the patient. These types of medications very likely should not be stopped without consultation with the physician. There is not only the risk posed from a lack of treatment of what has been diagnosed but also a risk of an effect produced by stopping the use without some mitigating attention from a physician.

Bear in mind that if one reads the potential side effects of most medicines, it tends to ring alarm bells. That is why the use must be monitored by a physician so that the physician may change dosage or medications if a particular side effect appears. Those warnings don't mean you will experience the side effects, necessarily.

The following is the generic name for the tablets.

My friend is taking 8 x 5mg Endone tablets a day at 40 mg total. what are the side effects and what will it do to her the tablets are not prescribed

Hello Helen
I am so pleased you posted again. I formulated a reply and you deleted the question. I have been worrying all night. Your friend is in dire need of help as she is heading into overdose territory. The tablets are opium based, highly addictive and have serious side effects anyway, but in such doses, can cause *****. These are prescription only and must be taken under medical supervision. She will have to weaned off them by reducing the dose gradually.

One, we have no idea about what you are taking....Two, this is a car and truck forum not a Dr or medical advice forum, so I would worry about any advice I received here about a medical issue anyway.

How do you use Pain Reliever Oral?

"If you are taking an over-the-counter product, read all directions on the product package before taking this medication. If you have any questions, consult your pharmacist. If your doctor has prescribed this medication, take it as directed.
Take this medication by mouth with or without food or as directed by your doctor. If stomach upset occurs, you may take this medication with food or milk.
If you are using the liquid form, carefully measure your prescribed dose using a medication-measuring device or spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.
If you are taking extended-release capsules, swallow them whole. Do not crush or chew extended-release capsules or tablets. Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Also, do not split extended-release tablets unless they have a score line and your doctor or pharmacist tells you to do so. Swallow the whole or split tablet without crushing or chewing.
The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Pain medications work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. If you wait until the symptoms have worsened, the medication may not work as well.
Do not take this product for pain more than 10 days (adults) or 5 days (children) unless directed by a doctor. Do not take this product for fever more than 3 days unless directed by your doctor. If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention."
