Check whether you have connected your HTS video out put to TV/PROJECTOR 's Video input. Try HDMI port for better result.

All Home Theater Systems (HTS) have/use their own speakers. If it didn't have speakers it wouldn't be an HTS . . . it would simply be a DVD player ;)

I can't give you any specific information about the Samsung HTS as you didn't supply a model number. 1080P is the output resolution, i.e 1080 lines, Progressive scan (= HD), not the model number.

Not much detail to work with here. Your cable box (?) should have a digital audio output. Use it if your HTS has an input for it. Otherwise, analog audio from the box or TV won't produce true surround, but most HTS can simulate it.

Are you hooking the TV to the Blu-Ray HTS with the HDMI cable¿ I have a client that had the HDMI cable from the HTS to the TV and needed to purchase an "Optical Cable" to get the sound from the TV to the HTS when they were using the cable box as the input. I hope this helps you going into the right direction.

Place different zone DVD into player tray
Press 99990
Press Play

you best bet for that much wire needed would be to go out to eather wal-mart or radio shack and get a spool of speaker wire normaly the mid range wire is a good bet for home use

WITH THE TRAY OPEN, PRESS STOP-7-3-4-4-6-6 

YOUR REGION AREA WILL BE DISPLAYED. 
PRESS "0" TO UNLOCK ALL 
PRESS "OK"

Press "Door Open"
- after the door opens perform the following sequence with the remote control:

Press STOP-7-3-4-4-6-6

a Region settings page will be displayed showing the current region on the TV (usually the default is region 1), using the remote control select the region number by pressing the number on the remote (select region 0 for region free) and press OK.
