Question about Fujitsu ASU15RLS2 Single Zone Wall Ductless Indoor Unit Air Handler

1 Answer

How do I use the heat on my Fujitsu ASU15RLS2?

Moved into a new place recently... the landlord said the Fujitsu is supposed to heat as well as cool the place. Been here for a month and a half now, still have not figured out how to use this thing and my landlord won't even bother mentioning how to use it. It's getting to be colder months and getting frustrating being in a very cold house with no way to heat it. The Fujitsu is on HEAT mode and we'll have it on 30 degrees (88 fahrenheit) and all it does it distribute air... no heat whatsoever. Is there something I'm missing here or do these things not actually heat.

There is an outdoor unit and is probably low on Freon and not working. it probably needs service. if the indoor unit come on, then the outdoor unit has power but may be low on Freon.

SOURCE: replace the batteries on the remote,

Simply continue sliding front panel down until it stops. At this point, move same panel left to right and apply further pull down pressure. Panel will now be removed from controller and reveal batteries.
Hope this helps, Ash.

Check that the gas is not leaking, that would be the most likely cause.

How do you replace the fan on a Fujitsu s2210 laptop?

How to Replace a Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan
1. Follow your laptop owner's manual and assembly guide carefully as you disassemble the laptop. Touch something metal periodically to remove static charge, and work on a large table with a bright light source.
2. Turn off the laptop and unplug it. Remove the main battery, DVD drive , Ac adapter and the hard drive. The hard drive is usually located in a slot on one side of the laptop. Remove the screw that holds the cover in place, then pull out the hard drive, screen sled.
3. Turn the laptop over and remove the screws on the bottom that hold the keyboard in place. Flip the laptop over, open it, then lift the keyboard up and out. Unplug the flexible ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard.
4. Remove the screws that hold the laptop keyboard bezel and palm rest in place. Carefully pry loose any plastic snaps on the sides, then lift the bezel and palm rest up and out.
5. Unplug the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 CPU Cooling Fan. Remove the screws that hold the heat sink and fan in place, then remove the entire unit from the laptop. Remove any thermal compound residue from the bottom of the heat sink and the CPU.
6. Apply a thin layer of thermal compound on the CPU, then replace the heat sink and cpu cooling fan. Replace the screws, plug the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan back in, then reassemble the laptop.
7. Plug the laptop in and turn it on. After you use it for a few minutes, you should hear the new Fujitsu cpu cooling fan running and feel warm air blowing from the vent on the side of the laptop. A Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan does not run continuously, so don't be concerned if the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan shuts off periodically.

I live in an apartment building; the A/C has been "broken" the entire summer and, although multiple reports have been filed with the landlord, nothing's being done. I've pulled the A/C out, the receptacle...

Unfortunately it could be anywhere in the building. I have seen the conduit and breaker boxes for units placed several stories away from the outlets. Often times in the basements or other utility rooms. Breaker panels in your apartment are for your convienence with normal items such as your stove, fridge, or normal appliances. However, some landlords will place the breaker panels for airconsitioning and heating system in a separate, locakable arear or room. Especially if the landlord pays the utilities for air or heating. I suppose it gives them the added benefit to cut you off in the event you don't pay the rent.

Sorry for the problems, hope it works out for you.

Vulcan C-X Gas Furnace Model 902

If you bought the house, did your hire a house inspector to check everything out? You can go back to him and have him double check his evaluation. I even got my inspector to pay for half of a repair when something broke right away after we moved in. If you are renting the place, ask the landlord to send a furnace repairman to do an annual inspection and cleaning on it. Just a few ideas for you to consider for peace of mind.

Recently moved, light inside dryer works. does not turn nor heat

Don't be playing around with electricity, folks. If you use anything but original equipment and something goes wrong, it's all your fault and responsibility. You are renting, have the landlord approve and maybe he can recommend a proper solution.

Very loud wall heater (bang!!) heat up and cool down.

cozy heat exchangers do tend to make a lil more noise than avg. if its popping before the blower comes on its proubly the heat exchanger expanding. you would have to watch the exchanger while it was heating to see exactly what is causing the noise. but as a renter you should try reporting it to the landlord first and try to get a tech there before digging yourself
