Question about Washing Machines
Hi,our hotpoint wdal8640 is showing all the program lights flashing,it fills up with water then starts to empty and then it carries on filling to the point i cannot turn it off only by switching it off at the plug,iv checked all the hoses and wires and im sure somethings gone on it but am not sure,can anyone giv me any clues to the problem???

Error F05 means pressure switch jammed on full.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Fit back and test

Please check on the water flow to the drum, if the flow is low or if the inlet is choked the water flow in the set time limit can be low and so could trip.
secondly it can be due to problems in the level sensor, try and see if the pressure switch works outside.
Finally check on the program controller unit once again to see the triping. check the door switch for loose connection.
