Leaking from Detergent tray

So mine is leaking out the front also. I can hear the water going into the detergent tray and then it drains out the bottom front of the tray itself. Obviously there is a clog somewhere in the tray, I just can't find it.

TAKE THE DETERGENT TRAY OUT AND CLEAN IT.
IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS TURN THE WATER DOWN TO A DRIBBLE AND SEE IF THIS FIXS THE FAULT. IF IT DOES--- THE WATER IS SPLASHING UP THE FRONT OF THE TRAY AND OVER THE TOP.
1) TAKE THE TRAY OUT 2) LOOKING AT THE TOP OF THE CAVITY ,COUNT BACK 4 ROWS OF HOLES, DRIILL THEM OUT TO 1/4 INCH . 3) BLOCK THE FIRST 3 ROWS OF HOLES WITH SILSATIC.

IF THE SLOW FILL DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM TAKE THE 2 SCREWS OUT OF THE BACK AND SLIDE THE TOP OFF, YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO SEE THE DISPENSER AND THE HOSES GOING TO IT. THEY MAY BE DAMAGED.

I have an electrolux front loading washing machine it is leaking water at the bottom and produces chunks of melted plastic during the cycle

Hello. If water is leaking from your washer, check the list below:
  • Is the drain clogged? If you have a clogged drain, it will need to be cleaned – contact a local plumber if necessary.
  • Is the drain hose restricted, or out of the standpipe? If the drain hose is out of the standpipe, you’ll need to secure it. You can do this by bending the end to form a hook, placing the hooked end into the standpipe, and tying the hose to the standpipe or a faucet with a cable tie (one was supplied with the washer), strong filament tape, or duct tape.
  • Are the fill hose connections loose at the faucet or washer? Check them and tighten the hose connections. If they’re loose, you might need to install or replace the rubber sealing washers.
  • Are you using a high-sudsing detergent or is your water soft? Using a high-sudsing detergent, or using too much detergent in soft water, can cause suds to overflow the washer. This may seem like a leak if the suds flow or drip onto the floor. Use a low-sudsing detergent and reduce the amount of detergent you use if your water is soft.

My washer is leaking detergent from the tray on the front of the washer. I cannot find anything online to help.

YOU MEAN THE TRAY WHERE YOU PUT DETERGENT, BLEACH, AND FABRIC SOFTENER IN? IF SO, REMOVE THE TRAY OUT COMPLETELY. REACH INSIDE MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING IN THERE THAT COULD BLOCK THE WATER GOING INTO THE MACHINE VIA A HOSE. AND ALSO CHECK AND CLEAN YOUR TRAY. THE TRAY CAN BE DIS-ASSEMBLED TO CLEAN. RUN IN WARM WATER AND MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE WHOLE THING OF SOAP AND SOFTENER RESIDUE. DON'T FORGET THOSE TINY LITTLE HOLES ON THE TRAY AND THE REMOVABLE CAPS

Kenmore Elite HE3 water is leaking out the front door

These are notorious for the door boot leaking. Look for any tears, rips, pinholes in the door boot. Also make sure the door is parallel with the machine. Most likely it's the boot. Parts about 100.00. Labor can run from 110-140 depending where you go.

Water leaking through detergent tray of my Hotpoint WF860

It sounds like the washer is not draining properly.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is on properly.
Be careful when you remove the hose, as there will be water in there.
As an extra precaution, remove soap draw, and thoroughly clean all parts, particularly, the conditioner parts

Thanks.

Leaking machine

Could be caused by several reasons.
1- Overfilling, check water level .
2-Blockage in dispenser, or dispenser inlet hose to drum
3-Drawer not in properly.
4-M/c not draining properly, thus when it goes into spin, water could be thrown up by centrifugal force, and come out of the front of the drawer.Check filter.
5-Water pressure very high, forcing water out of drawer, adjust pressure.
Plz rate my soution.
Thanks.

Maytag front load washer leaking water from detergent dispenser

The other end of the dispenser to outer drum hose only connects to the outer drum and if you remove the top cover of the machine, you will see it clearly. You can unclamp the hose from the bottom of the dispenser and feel inside the hose for any obstruction. Do not remove the hose from the outer drum. Pour some hot water down the hose and squeeze the hose from top to bottom to remove build up of detergent and softener on the inside walls of the hose.

Water leaking

There is a small plastic "gate" that is left down for liquid detergent and moved back and up for powder detergent. If this piece is left down and powder detergent is used, the water leaks and the detergent won't go into the washer properly.
