Question about Hoover Uh70400 Wind Tunnel Air Bagless Upright Vacuum

1 Answer

Our Hoover Wind Tunnel loudly sucks air through the top of the cylinder. We have cleaned the filters, but it still does it. Why is this happening, and what can we do to fix it?

At least there is nothing to suggest it is not aligned properly

Started taking vacuum apart. Found a clog that was causing the problem.

Fan on air cleaner blows out top but does not suck

If air is blowing out - it most assuredly is getting in. The area of the intake make be large enough for you to perceive air being sucked in.
Make sure ALL filters are clean. Remove and replace disposable filters or wash and replace permanent filters. Do this for pre-filters too. Then, try again.
