How do I find a posting on my timeline that was posted a few months ago

I want to read some information that was posted on my timelines a few months ago . How do I find it?

You can use the Activity log to review or your timeline or:

You can increase the font size on Facebook using a simple trick on your keyboard. (This trick will also work for all websites you visit).

  • Hold down either the Crtl or Cmd (Windows symbol for PCs) keys and press the plus (+) key.
  • You can also decrease the font size on a page by holding down either the Crtl or Cmd (Windows symbol for PCs) keys and pressing the minus (-) key.

This solution works for most internet browsers. If it does not, try upgrading to the newest version of your browser or trying a new one. Google Chrome works for me.
  • I also prefer to use the Ctrl key because it gives more flexibility to size on my browser.

There is no way of "getting rid" of your Facebook Timeline. Once Facebook has moved you over to Timeline, that's it. For good.

Why i can't restrict friends
What do you want to restrict them from? If it's just annoying timeline posts you don't want to see. click in the upper right hand corner of the post. it will then say "Unfollow (name)" You will remain friends but will no longer see their posts. If you want them to stop posting on your timeline. You can either go to your profile page and go to the upper right hand corner again this time it should say "I don't want to see this" or Go to your setting and click on Timeline and tagging there will be a few options for you to choose from. I recommend you turn on "Review Posts". I hope this helped let me know if you have any other questions.

Some girl took over my timeline and can log in and get to my home page but when I go to my timeline her stuff is all over my timeline and it needs to be fixed.
log in and change your password. next thing you should do is block her that way you wont be able to see anything she post and she wont see anything you post

I can;t find the recipes I shared on facebook
On your timeline page near the top, click "Activity Log" (but not the gear and arrow next to it)

Then click "Your Posts" to see things you posted to your timeline that may have been hidden by you or just went "out of trend" according to Facebook's crazy computers.

You can sign up on twitter by giving your full name,emailid and password by landing here: www.twitter.com

Please Find below few twitter terminologies that might be of help to you while using twitter:
  • Tweet - Message you want to post to the world. If you have locked your tweets(via Settings),only people who follow you can read those tweets
  • Retweet - Repost a tweet somebody else had posted. You can see your tweets retweeted,your retweets,etc in Retweets tab.
  • Reply - You can reply to tweet. When Replying,you Mention the person whom you want to reply and click Tweet.
  • Direct Message (DM) - Sending Message within twitter. You can Direct Message only to a person who is following you. You cannot DM a person who you follow or who you don't follow.
  • Mention - You can mention a person and send a tweet to them. It is like 'hey @username , this is for you'. When people follow you and the targeted receiver,they can see this tweet in their timeline.
  • Timeline - The homepage when you sign in to twitter. Tweets posted by people who you follow will appear in your timeline. Your tweets will appear in Timeline of your followers.
  • Follow - Following someone in Twitter. You receive their tweets in your timeline.
  • UnFollow - Stops following that person in Twitter. You no more receive their tweets in your timeline.
  • Block - You can block some person from contacting you via Twitter.
  • Report Spam - You can report a user when he/she spams your timeline.
  • Add to List - you can add person to specific lists. You can see tweets of people according to the lists you add them to in the Lists tab.
  • #(hashtag) - The main feature of twitter that made it famous worldwide. You can add #sometrend to your tweet. When more people add the same '#sometrend' in their tweet,it appears in the Recent Trends. More the people tweet with '#sometrend' , more it gains attention from people worldwide. Do not use more than three hashtag for single tweet. Using so will cause twitter to detect your tweets as spam.
  • Twitterer - You. Account holder in Twitter. Commonly called as Tweeple.
