SOURCE: 50" LG Plasma TV has no picture just scattered pixels across the screen

This sounds like an issue that would be covered under the manufacturer warranty. please get a hold of the manufacturer for service. Thsi particular model has a 2 year, parts and labor, limited warranty. This might save you some money. Here is the website for LG service:
When you call, you should have your serial number and model number ready.
Hope this was helpful
Have a great day!

SOURCE: 42 inch plasma LG TV The pixels are going bad I guess

This is not a pixel fault. It must be due to its Y-Sustain board or its buffer. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. LG LED tv no picture but do have sounds,

the LCD screen has a light source (like a monitor). It can be an lamp (like a projector TV), a mercury tube (like a monitor) or a LED-based lamp (so-called LED TVs have that, not to be mistaken for OLED TVs, where each pixel is a LED). I don't believe this model is an OLED. It could be one of the others, most likely a mercury lamp that lays at one side of the monitor and illuminates the screen.
You could shile a flashlight to the screen (from close distance) while the TV is powered on and see if any image is being formed on the LCD. If it does, the lamp is burned out and needs replacing. If no ghostly image is seen, then it could be the video processor and then it's a bigger problem.

My new lg 3d tv is closng on top bottom and sides is there anything i can do to cure the problem

Could you provide more information? What do you mean when you say, "closing?" Do you mean there is a black band around the picture? If so that means the original picture is recorded at a lower pixel density than your TV will display.
In the past most TV program signals provided a picture dimensions (in computer standards) very roughly 600 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall. What this means is that a picture of that pixel size will display as a small, squarish image slightly wider than it is tall on a (now) standard 1080p LCD television--which produces an image 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high.
That would be nearly unwatchable (picture too small) except for the fact that most TVs compensate for the relatively small size of "standard definition TV (SD TV, as opposed to HDTV) by enlarging the image so that the top and bottom edges of the picture touch the top and bottom of the TV screen. This will leave black bands on either side of the picture. Some LCD TVs will automatically stretch BOTH dimensions of the image, which yields a distorted, "sqaushed" image.
All my comments above apply to both standard LCD and 3D-LCD TVs, by the way.

Showing pixels

If you have either bright or dead (dark) pixels then this is a matter of replacing the screen. Manufacturers do have pixel policies where a minimum number of damaged pixels are considered acceptable depending thier position on the screen. If you still have the TV under warrenty then call thier repair department to have the problem accessed.

My tv has pixels is this fixable and does any one know how much to fix.

The only way to fix a problem with missing/bright pixels is to have the screen replaced. The cost of getting a replacement screen is normally just as expensive (or even more expensive) than it is to buy a new TV. I assume you have had the TV for a few years & it is now out of warranty, as manufacturers have a pixel policy, where depending how many pixels are faulty & thier location on the screen, then if it is still under a warranty it may be covered for this defect. If not the best option would be to buy a new TV.

Samsung 42' plasma tv,screen keep flashing, blurry,no pics

I'm not really sure what causes this but I might be able to help.
I have an LG 42 plasma which had the same problem. In my case I removed the video and the tuner board (they both were mounted on the same frame which was screwed on the tv chassis) and installed them in a "wooden box" so that there would be no electrical contact with the rest of the chassis except from the cables connected to them. It now works fine.

The video card is damaged. Try and reset the TV and hope its the software: unplug the TV, plug in after 1 minute and see what happens. If that doesn't work it will need professional service.
